Handy!
This is such a simple device that does a big job! It covers the drain well and doesn’t move around so no hairs slip thru the sides. Cleaning and removing hair following a shower is super easy. No pulling clumps of hair out of a drain!

Quality product; well made and works better that any other drain protector I've had before
I have to admit that from the photo I had my doubts about this product. To be fair, every drain cover I looked at had seemed to have some issue, but I was tired of looking. I had spent a frightening amount of time searching for, and stressing over such an inconsequential item that it was downright embarrassing. (Ah, but it is this level of "sweating the small stuff" that likely precipitates my quest for the perfect hair catcher in the first place.) So, the zaa Bathtub Drain Hair Catcher it was. Less than 24 hours later it arrived at my front door; on time, well-packaged and in new condition (as expected.) 2 minutes after that, it was ready to use. All I needed to do was unbox the item, pop it up, and place it on my drain. Even I could not find a way to make that part complicated. It is so simple to use, to clean, and to remove. The best part is it does work really well! So much better than anything I have ever used before. I'd be surprised if anything gets past it. It looks and feels like a quality product. I am currently using this on a pop up style drain (lift and turn to open/close.) My drain is approximately 1" high, and the zaa bathtub hair catcher is more than tall enough to accommodate. The placement/start of the drain is really close to the end of the tub; it begins 1/2" in from the start of the upward curve at the end of bathtub, and is 2 1/2" in diameter. This drain cover has just enough room/clearance at the end of the tub to sit flush while maintaining solid contact all the way around the drain; even with the slightly textured surface of my tub. I would definitely buy this again, and I'm not just saying that to escape the torment of another prolonged crusade for the ideal hair catcher. What I mean is, I plan to buy another. Since this purchase, I've developed a nasty habit of accidentally knocking/dropping things into the garbage disposal, the majority of which cannot just be "disposed of". I've grown weary of trying to fish tiny items from my garbage disposal on the reg, so I'm going to get another zaa Drain Hair Catcher to save me from myself, (because, FYI, you can use it in the collapsed/flat position as a kitchen drain cover.) My only regret with this purchase, not buying the 2 pack/3 pack. Definitely recommend.

works pretty well.
I bought a new bathtub drain plug system, not realizing that this "step to stop" type has no hair filter. This soft silicon plastic screen solves the problem, but is larger and taller than I needed. It is 2 inches high, so there is a full inch above the drain plug of wasted extra space. It does seem to catch hair pretty well, but removing the hair from the edge of the device takes a minute longer than the old screen, which was a disk with holes flush with the bottom of the tub, and just needed a swipe of a kleenex to clean. This one needs to be picked up from the tub and wiped with a pinching motion all around the edge to get all the hair. I actually wish I had not changed the original lever and rod drain plug system, but what is done is done. However, I do agree that this new system, including the new tall plastic screen, is easy to operate, I simply step on the center of the volcano shaped screen, which crushes down easily to plug or unplug the tub with just a foot step, leaving the screen in place. And the color I chose matches my bathroom colors well. The top of the volcano is weighted with a shiny metal top so it will stay firmly in place. Once a month I do have to scrub it with an old toothbrush to get off a whitish film that develops on it (soap scum or hard water deposit, I presume) I have considered taking out the whole "step to stop" system, which would be easy to unscrew, and screw back the original chrome disk full of holes, leaving me with no drain plug at all, but It would be so sleek and easy to clean , as I rarely actually use the tub as a bathtub, only as a shower.

Works well
Perfect fit around the tub drain and traps all the hair when I bathe my dog. Easy to use and clean.

Good buy
Excellent hair catcher. Thick and hefty so it doesn't move easily from water pressure. The holes are pretty small so if you lose a lot of hair in one wash, it will make it hard for the water to drain.. kinda backs up. But I'd rather have that little issue than most of the hair slip through like most gadgets. I just save my hair until the end. Hair easily peels off to throw away. Would buy again for sure

Simple and Functional Hair Catcher
The zaa Bathtub Drain Hair Catcher is a straightforward solution for keeping hair out of the drain. The silicone material feels flexible yet sturdy, and the collapsible design fits over most standard tub or shower drains without any installation. It catches a good amount of hair while still allowing water to flow through. Like similar products, it needs to be cleaned regularly to maintain good drainage, and the fit may vary slightly depending on your drain. Overall, it works as expected and does a reasonable job for a basic, low-cost hair catcher.

Simple, effective, and easy to clean
This hair catcher does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It fits well in the drain and catches hair without blocking the water flow. The silicone is soft but sturdy, and it stays in place during showers. Cleaning is super easy — I just lift it up, remove the hair, rinse it, and put it back. No mess, no tools needed. It’s also flexible and collapsible, which is a nice touch.

Hair catcher
I like this because it’s big enough to cover & seal the large drain in our bath tub & it is heavy enough not to float off the drain when the water is turned on or the tub is being drained. A drain cover won’t work if it doesn’t stay in place; this one isn’t held in place by suction, just by heft. It is worth the price to keep long hair from clogging the drain. We’ve had it in place for many months with no rust or color changes.

water does not drain quickly
What I like, does catch hair. What I do not like is the water does not drain quickly leading to me standing in couple inches of water while showering

Good for Long Hair, Not for Short
As a drain cover, this product is stable, light weight, stays in place and is easy to clean. I use this cover when I dry shave and while it catches the longer beard hair, it lets the shorter moustache hair pass through. Consequently, I'm considering using a fine-mesh tea strainer - in conjunction with this device - to see if I can stop all the hair going down my drain. In terms of delivery, the product arrived early and customer service was prompt.
