The leg is well cut and the waist band doesn’t go anywhere near my belly button, unlike some that have been reviewed. So either I have a different cut or a bigger belly ! Sizing is on the smaller side, so a 16-18 is definitely more a 16. As they’re cotton there’s no stretch but they seem a good quality and well made. Definitely good value for money. I won’t be hanging them on the line to dry though for fear I may encourage birds to nest in them. Bridget would be proud. I’d say yes, buy them. I've bought 2 of these multipacks of knickers and have only been able to wear each one for literally an hour doing literally nothing. The moment you move the cotton breaks and unravels, you push them down to go for a wee and the elastic snaps in the waistband. You pull them back up very very carefully and the cotton in the legs snap and the waistband cotton has unravelled even more. Maybe it was just a poorly made pair? I took them off and binned them and put on a second pair... this had to be better made, right? Wrong. Exactly the same thing happened with the second pair. And the third pair. And all of them in the entire pack. I bought another multipack, wanting desperately to believe that the machinery was just having a bad day and the new set would be better, right? Wrong again. The second set was even worse than the first set and the cotton in the waistband was unravelling before I'd even put them on. The elastic in the legs had already snapped too.
