It has the look of a W2 military watch but overall thick

Watch came in today and I absolutely love it. It was supposed to take two weeks to come in but they sent it Federal Express, which was a nice surprise, it came in three days. The watch has a black face giving it a little more formal feel even though it's still a casual piece. The movement is automatic which means it's self winding, so it you leave it off your wrist and it's not in a winder it will eventually stop. If you're fine with that, I recommend this piece.

Reasonable good automatic movement for the price and really nice design

文字盤の青みのあるグレーがなんとも良い感じ。ベルトのグレーと相まって地味にオシャレ。1日にせいぜい数秒ほどの誤差なので使用上全く支障無し。さすがセイコーですね。文字盤の下部とケース裏にも小さくmade in Japan と日本製の証があって海外物とは違うという価値と安心感あり。時にはベルトを色々取り替えて楽しめる。スイスの高級時計やグランドセイコーなども持っていますが普段はこのセイコー5ミリタリーです。時計好きには一本は持っていても後悔ない腕時計です。

買った個体は精度が日差3秒程度。ムーブメントの4Rは個人的にはあたりばっかり。7Sと比べると雲泥の差。派手なミリタリーウォッチが欲しい人はぜひ。

この時計の文字盤の数字が大きく見やすいですね。コストに比べパフォーマンスが抜群です。

はじめての国産機械式腕時計ですが、値段の割にほんとに精巧。スイス、ドイツ時計を数本所有していますが国産も悪くないなと思いました。
