This is a nice and good covering coat for use while cooking. I've used it a few times while working with BBQ and I'm happy to report none of the food stains made it through the coat. The material is lightweight and I didn't feel like I was encumbered while wearing it, nor was I overly hot in it. The care directions are easy and I've had no issues with cleaning.Be noted that the outer shell is made of a waterproof-feeling material. I did notice when moving some ribs that had been resting that some of the juice that got on me slid right off the shirt and on to the floor. Personally I'd rather the coat "hold" that so that it wasn't one other thing to clean, but on the other hand, it didn't get to my shirt underneath the coat. This isn't a negative but something to be aware of.All in all I like this coat and would recommend it.

I ordered a size larger than normal. It mostly fit well but it was a little loose around the stomach but still tight around my shoulders. I would suggest keeping this in mind when ordering. Otherwise it is great material and a very professional design.

The fit is a bit odd. In some places its too big (the shoulder area for example) and others its too small (it is kinda short). The material is decent, not what I expected to feel. Overall its good to have when you have a lot of cooking to do and don't want to dirty up normal clothing.
