Easy to Customize and Perfect for Creating a Large Patio Space
I purchased four of these AECOJOY wall-mounted gazebos to create a covered patio area across the front and side of the house, and I absolutely love how it turned out. They were easy to install and even easier to combine, which made it simple to customize the layout to fit the space exactly how I wanted. The hard top roof feels sturdy and provides great shade, and once mounted, everything feels solid and secure. Using multiple units together worked really well and created a seamless, finished look rather than feeling pieced together. This was a cost-effective way to get a large shaded area without building a full permanent structure. These are great for decks, patios, and backyard spaces, especially if you want flexibility in design. They look clean and modern and instantly upgraded the outdoor area. Pros: โข Easy to install and customize โข Combines well with multiple units โข Sturdy hard top construction โข Great shade coverage โข Excellent value, especially on clearance Cons: โข Installation is easier with two people โข Requires proper wall support for mounting Suggestions for improvement: Including clearer instructions for combining multiple units would be helpful. Offering optional side panels or privacy screens would also be a great upgrade. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase. Being able to customize the patio layout exactly how I wanted made these well worth it, and I would buy them again without hesitation.

Not a Good Product
Was such a let down. This product came with damage and I do realize that has nothing to do with the seller. What is disappointing is the quality of the product. I was expecting it to be much more sturdy. I live in southeastern NC and what decided on this product based on how it described the wind and strength (could hold all this snow-which I don't get but I figured it much be a great structure). The roof tiles are no more that flimsy tiles. They reminded me of a yard sale sign that has the holes for the metal stakes to slide in. Upon seeing the image to the pole and to one of the flimsy roof tiles, I rebooted it and wanted to return it. It was bought through a 3rd party Amazon store. They contacted me via Amazon messenger and I described the issues I was having. I took pictures of the outside of the box to show where it has been damaged in several places and described the damage to the product. This dialog went back and forth 4 times with them responding with the same answer. They wanted me to unpack the box again and take pictures of the damage where then they could decide how to best deal with it. I eventually just said I wanted a refund and wanted to ship it back. I took to UPS to send back and shipping was over $229 so I decided to not ship it. Now I am stuck with a product that I am VERY unhappy with and it damaged.

Seems good for the price, had to buy additional hardware.
Seems like a decent patio in a box for the price. Shipping was pretty fast, received it a few days earlier than what was estimated and it was fairly easy to set up. I did it by myself. Didn't time myself, but it was probably about 8 hours altogether. I put together all of the individual assemblies in the living room on one day, then another day I took it outside and assembled everything together. It's pretty straightforward, I would recommend reading through the instructions and looking at the pieces to make sure you understand how everything goes together before starting. Also, make sure you have the right pieces. There are several reasons that I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5. The main one being that some of the included hardware sucks and I had to get a few things from the hardware store. I also had an issue with needing more parts. I had four of an item I was only supposed to have two of, and zero of another item that I needed two of. If you have an issue, the best way to contact the company is sending a message through Amazon. I first went straight to the companies website and never received a response, got one that night through Amazon. It is somewhat frustrating due to the time difference when dealing with a Chinese company. I would message during the day and get a return when I was sleeping, it was one message a day for about five days before they said they would ship the parts out. In the end they took care of it and all was good, just required some patience. There were two problems I had with the hardware, the first one being the waterproof washers. There's these wide rubber washers held down with a tiny headed bolt going into a big hole. The washers were being cut and deformed to the point where I felt like there was no way they would seal anything so I went and bought some fender washers to go between the bolt head and them. This covers the rubber washer and puts even pressure on them preventing them from deforming. I feel either some painted fender washer or truss bolts with bigger heads should have been included to properly hold down the rubber washers. The washers I have dont match the rest of the assembly, but it's on top and unseen, so no big deal. I got the adjustable height patio that attaches to the house instead of having legs and the hardware they included to do the attaching is concrete anchors. I do have a brick house, but am attaching to the fascia so had to get some lag bolts. I would imagine that most people are attaching to wood and not brick, dont see why they couldnt throw in a few lag bolts also. I also had to flip the brackets that attach to the house. I had a strict height I was working with, and the installed height is a little taller then what was specified in the description. Flipping the brackets got me within the height I needed. I should have gone with a slightly smaller one, this one extended about 20 inches past my slab. I put down two rows of paving stones to fill it in. I bought 18 inch yard anchors that I put into the ground under the pavers then drilled holes in the pavers to bolt through into the anchors. Would be nice if they included some kind of cover to go over the bottom mounts and make it look a little better. Overall I'm happy with it for the price. Looks decent and seems stable. I plan on putting some LED strip lights around it and putting up a bug screen with the adjustable poles, maybe some kind of fan also. Just have to see how waterproof it is. It butts up against the fascia underneath the shingle lip so I'm not sure if I'll have to come back and either caulk it or use some kind of weatherproof tape.

Does the job and definitely worth the price
Very good quality materials. Fast delivery. It was time consuming to put together, but the directions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to complete with myself and 2 easily distracted teenagers. We had 30 mph winds the day after we put ours up and it held up well, but I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend having this set up without it being anchored in someway as it swayed with the lightest breeze. The base of all five post have four holes that you can attach screws and anchor to your deck. There are also three options on the tall side where you can anchor it to a structure easily. Due to the placement of the back door and windows on our back deck, we needed a little more height so we had a 4x6 post cut at Home Depot to 6 1/2 inches long, spray painted them the same color as the frame, and anchored them to the deck, and the screwed the base of the poles to the blocks. It is extremely sturdy. The taller side against the house only had two poles versus the three poles on the shorter side which did cause a very little bit of sagging in the middle of the tall side for the 10x14 we purchased. However, this was easily corrected Once we use the included anchor and attached it above our windows. I have had rain since we put it up and it has been completely waterproof. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase, and think the price point is perfect.

Decent Pergola Despite Frustrating Build
DISCLAIMER: I bought the 10x12 adjustable height option and due to my low roof, to meet the 98" height requirement for setup, I attached the pergola to my roof using roof brackets which I bought separately. This may or may not affect the integrity of the build, though after reading other reviews, I have had shared issues which I will detail below: First, the instructions are not very helpful as others have pointed out. However, if you have built any large IKEA furniture, you will be able to do this project. Take your time, read the directions carefully, and please have someone on standby for install. Second, the two posts look wonky and it was a little bit of a struggle getting the screws to go all the way through the pre-drilled holes. I did have to use a power drill. I constantly am looking at how to keep them straight, but any force can move the posts if you don't have them anchored. Third, the hardest part of the install IMO was the roof panels. I ended up having to cut off about an inch from one of the panels because despite it being fit where it needed to go, it was somehow too long for me to complete the edging. I am just going to try my hardest not to look up anytime I am under the pergola to see the slightly misaligned piece due to this long panel mishap lol. The Pros: This thing was CHEAP compared to all of the other options I was looking at, and to be honest, it is a sturdy, good looking pergola. I live in the PNW and so far it has stood up against heavy rains and a bunch of pine needles from nearby trees. I do notice the drainage system working as the water goes through the product at certain points and the water gets drained at the low end of the roof panels. The main reason we wanted a pergola was to extend our life outside during the rainy season and so far we've been able to do just that.

Great product overall
I bought a 10 x 10 last yr, and for the price it is excellent! We did not attach it to the house, and it did move slightly in 65 mph wind. We put it in tall planters with cement and rock. Very easy to put together 2 person job. We did add an extra support on the center back, wish that was an added option.

Great product for a great price!
Iโve never left a review, but with this purchase felt like I needed to just in case someone is having a hard time deciding, just like we were. With all the mixed reviews, we were extremely hesitant to try this pergola, but we really liked the look and it was the right size, 14x10, so we decided to buy it. We are very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend to others! Yes, it was a lot of work to put it together, but all the pieces were there and the instructions that came with the product were very clear and outlined everything step-by-step. Very easy to follow and all the pieces came together perfectly. Would recommend using a drill to tighten everything, as per some reviews, seems like not everyone does this. Also, anchoring all five legs and attaching the pergola to the house made it very sturdy. My husband and I completed the set up in about 7 hours or so and that was with a few breaks. No regrets on buying this pergola. A great purchase!

Hard to insert roof panels
I am giving this a 1 star because while inserting the plastic panels into the roof rails the window felt came out. There is no possible way to insert the panels without it coming out the top. It is also very wobbly unless you are able to secure it asap.
