Sound good on my Camps M5 As a classical player mainly have not played it much so not sure of the longevity but should be ok given the price

The sound produce by any given set of strings will vary by instrument and playing technique and is subject to personal taste. The musical genre will also inform the choice. In that context I find these strings a good compromise for both flamenco and folk. Excellent percussive effects and sweet sustain.

I an an experienced player. Nothing has changed about my frequency, intensity or duration of playing. I decided to try these as I could not remember how that had previously performed when used years ago. The sound is quite trebly as one would expect from flamenco strings. But nothing exceptional or profoundly different/better than other brands. However, within 3 weeks, I noticed that my finger was "sticking" or getting caught on the D string at the second and 3rd frets and was inhibiting my playing. The picture shows erosion of the binding (totally worn away on the fret side of string). Now this is quite normal for me when using say, D'Addario EJ45s after 3 about months, but NOT after just 3 weeks. So I do not understand how they could be given 5 stars in other reviews. The only conclusion I can draw is that La Bella have downgraded their product quality in recent years. So I do not recommend these to flamenco players for durability and they are poor value for value.

both E and B strings snapped when restringing. Been playing for 30+ years never had a problem before with other strings.

E probado con la mayoria de cuerdas flamencas, estas de la bella tension media nos dejo en mi casa flipados, Aviso para el que las pida la primera cuerda es muy fina y resbala mucho hacer el nudo de el puente bien aprieto por que sino cuando la tensas resbala y no llega nunca al tono que tiene que dar asta que se desata o se parte, por eso apretar la primera bien, las demas perfectas

Ich habe bisher immer nur 'hochwertige' Saiten verwendet. Das Ergebnis: mal reisst eine Saite, mal schnarrt es aus unerklärlichen Gründen, oder klingt einfach nur matschig, und das bei Saiten, wo der Satz 20.-€ und mehr kostete. Ich dachte halt auch, teuer=gut. Aber denkste. Aus der Not heraus habe ich kürzlich eine gerissene e-Saite auf die Schnelle mit einer La Bella aus der Notfallkiste meines Gitarrenlehrers ersetzt. Das mitunter langwierige Nachstimmen neuer Saiten (vorallem der Nylon) hielt sich hier spürbar in Grenzen. Auch der Klang war absolut klar. Hab dann auch den kompletten Satz getauscht und bin absolut zufrieden damit. Ich bin kein Profi und da gibt es sicher auch andere Meinungen, aber für meine Zwecke sind die Saiten das Beste, was ich bisher auf meiner Klampfe hatte. Die Saiten von la Bella haben mich voll überzeugt. Ich hatte noch keine besseren drauf und werde sie darum auch wieder kaufen.
