The pedal is a good size, so it remains stable on the floor when you stomp on it. The light isn’t blinding bright, but it’s not too dim either. The controls are good, with a guard rail prevent your foot from hitting the controls.It is built like a tank, so no complaints about build quality.I bought two of these because I like the headphone jack. Something you want to play through headphone and this is ideal for that.It comes pre-loaded with a 9v battery, so just plug your guitar in one side and your headphone in the other and away you go. But be warned changing the battery requires a screw driver. Not a deal breaker as most other brands, also require a screw driver to replace the battery.This is not ideal for a pedal board as the grip tape will not stick to the rubber foot pad, so to fit it to a pedal you will need to remove the big rubber foot pad. Also the only way to truly power this down is to unplug the guitar input.If you are travelling with an electric guitar and can only take one pedal, this would be the pedal to take. A little bit of vintage overdrive and a headphone jack. If you are worried about the batteries going flat, just unplug the guitar input and that break the circuit, forcing the unit off.
