Loved it Very good flavor even for a sugar free

I've been a long time consumer of Monster energy drinks and was thrilled to see that this was available on Amazon for a significantly lower price than what I could get at the grocery store. The review from this order is linked to my ultra gold purchase but I've also tried their ultra blue, ultra paradise, ultra rosa, ultra red, ultra sunrise, and zero ultra and have not been disappointed by any of them. The flavors are fantastic and they've come in clutch since I started spending 50-60 hours per week at work in the lab and I felt like they've kept me attentive with doing mentally demanding things. I also used to drink them before lifting competitions and they were really nice for that purpose too.

I admit I may have a problem. I decided to start buying these on Amazon...because I cleaned out all the gas stations on my side of town. I'm a nurse, and I need my caffeine, but can't always get coffee due to time constraints. I used to drink the Monster Khaos, then the Khaotic, but then I went on a low carb diet, and couldn't have the ones with juice in them, because of the amount of sugar. A friend at work gave me one of these Golds about a year ago, and I've been hooked ever since. The flavor is like pineapple, and even though there's a tiny bit of an artificial sweetener after taste when you first start drinking them, the strong pineapple flavor hides it well--especially if you drink them cold, and you get accustomed to it quickly. This is the only sugar-free Monster I like, and I now prefer it to the ones with juice.

Really good value here for the money! The item arrived on time, no imperfections on the package. The taste of the product was not flawed in any way. For those that never have tried this flavor you will enjoy this one! Will definitely be ordering again!

RIP Ultra Gold!!! You were better than those who came before you... and you CONTINUE (even though no longer in production) to be BETTER than those who remain. Neither singing your praises, nor reviewing your shortcomings, will bring you back. Sad.

I love these soooo much! I actually mix a can of full sugar monster and a can of sugar free so that I get the yumminess of the full sugar without the full load of calories. I drink one, and then refrigerate and drink the second the next day. Also, I don't know why but I can leave almost any Monster flavor in the fridge, opened and drink it the next day without much loss of carbonation. Fave flavor mix is SF Golden Pineapple and Khaotic. It's like a cactus cooler with a kick!

The Ultra Gold is my favorite flavor but it was getting harder to find. I figured it to be a light pineapple flavor. This new Ultra Golden Pineapple is very close in taste to the original Ultra Gold (although I still like that one better!). I used to be able to get the Ultra Gold in a case of 24 - 16 oz on Subscribe and Save and the price was better. Now Monster seems to be moving to these packs of 15 - 16oz. Maybe it's a shipping issue as the 15 packs are lighter BUT it seems the price per ounce is higher.

The 24-pack is great value, especially if you go through these regularly. It saves money and saves me from multiple trips to the store. sugar free but doesn't taste as chemically as some do. Arrived day early!

Used to be one of my faves but have been finding it a bit too sweet recently. So although I've purchased this a few times,I probably won't euha to buy again sadly

This tastes great, but I really have to question the inclusion of B12 at 10,000% of the recommended dietary allowance (yes you read that right). Although no tolerable upper limit (TUL) exists for B12, it seems reckless and unnecessary to mega-dose in this way. Simply providing 100% of RDA would be perfectly sufficient.
