I bought this screwdriver when it was on sale recently for circa £12, and I've found it more useful than I thought I would. It really shines for me as our 'household' goto screwdriver in the drawer with the batteries - because it's hard to pick it up and NOT end up with the right because because it has the 12 tucked away neatly in the handle (which is a wider selection than in my more pricey similar branded one I use in my office , and the T bits have come in handy already. Only a small amount of slop in the ratchet, which stays in place well, and I've no concerns with accidentally flipping the setting when tightening. The mechanism for the pop-out storage is neat enough too, and most excitingly - it doesn't rattle!

Usual Bosch quality and very well designed. Feels robust and comfortable in my hand. Have bits stored neatly inside and it does great job around my house when I need it. Easy to change bits and fits perfectly in my hand. Ratchet system is very impressive and it is easy to change direction. If Ratcheting is not required, just keep it in the middle setting and it works like a normal screwdriver. Very good value for money.

Where has this been all my life? Since purchasing, it has hardly left my hand. Ratchet action in both directions is smooth, and switching from one to the other is easy. Size is perfect, and having the extra heads stored inside the handle is brilliant. As expected from Bosch, this screwdriver looks like it will last a long time, feels comfortable in the hand, and is an essential piece of kit in my toolbox. Bought the stubby one too, so sky’s the limit.

a good ratchet screwdriver the bit storage opens and closes very easy and the bits are very good quality its easy to hold and the ratcheting bit moves very easily it a little hard to remove but not that hard

We had a cheaper screwdriver with the same premise break on us. I saw this and thought it might be overkill but honestly this is worth the extra to the cheaper alternatives. The sturdiness and quality is worth the extra couple of quid and it's so easy to use. Stellar piece of kit

La verdad, este destornillador de carraca de Bosch me ha sorprendido más de lo que pensaba. A simple vista parece “otro destornillador más”, pero en cuanto lo tienes en la mano notas que no: el mango ancho es comodísimo, da un agarre firme incluso si estás en plena faena y tienes las manos algo sudadas o llenas de polvo. No tienes que apretar como si te fuera la vida en ello; simplemente coges, giras la carraca y aquello va solo. La carraca en sí va suave, sin ruidos raros ni holguras. Se nota que está bien hecha. Nada de esas herramientas que a la tercera vuelta ya parece que se van a desmontar. Aquí todo encaja, todo gira donde tiene que girar y no tienes que estar peleándote con el mecanismo. Y lo mejor es que puedes poner la carraca en modo apretar, aflojar o dejarla fija, así que se adapta a cualquier chapucilla. Las 6 puntas que trae cubren lo básico y lo habitual: para montar muebles, ajustar bisagras, abrir aparatos, apretar tornillos del coche… vamos, lo típico del día a día. No son infinitas, pero para un uso normal van sobradas, y además quedan guardadas dentro del mismo mango, así que no hay drama de perderlas porque lo llevas todo junto. Una cosa que me ha gustado mucho es que pesa lo justo: lo suficiente para sentirse resistente y de calidad, pero sin ser un ladrillo que te deje la muñeca molida. Bosch suele hacer herramientas robustas, y esta no es la excepción. Da la sensación de que te va a durar años. En resumen: si quieres un destornillador de carraca que funcione bien, sea cómodo, aguante trote y no te deje tirado a mitad del montaje de un mueble sueco, este es un acierto seguro. No es la herramienta más “fancy” del mundo, pero es práctica, fiable y de esas que acabas usando más de lo que imaginabas. — “Herramienta pequeña, pero de las que te salva la vida más de una vez.”
