Tweezerman Glass Nailcare Set

Love these for my natural nail care routine they really make a difference in the quality of my nails. I’ve seen a huge improvement and I love the way they work. The shiner is incredible. It works so quickly and the shine is unbelievable and it lasts for weeks I just wish that they came with a durable safety pouch because if you drop these just once you can break them, you have to be very careful with the glass in instruments it should come with a pouch of some sort and it’s very difficult to find one separate separately. It comes with a piece of plastic that you can pop the items into, but it’s not very attractive or practical for long-term storage

I had no idea that glass nail tools were so amazing. The nail file is so smooth on the nails and doesn’t leave uneven edges. The cuticle pusher pushes stuff off your nail you never even knew was there! I used to use a metal one but never again. The pointed edge helps lift up dead skin but you don’t risk being cut or pricked by sharp metal edges with the glass. The nail buffer is NUTS! I admit I bought this to buff my nails for manicure prep and this tool won’t work for that. It’s more for shine. But with one glide, my nail looked so shiny it didn’t seem natural. It looked like I had an extra thick glossy clear nail polish coat on. It smoothed out imperfections on my nail like a Magic wand. Perfect for folks who wear their nails natural. Not as useful for my purpose though. Glass is sustainable and you can rinse it and sanitize it so easily. Love this!

I love glass files for the smoothness they give the free edge; they're easy to clean/sanitize using soap and water followed by 99% alcohol, UV C light or an autoclave and last forever. All glass, so it's sustainable, recyclable & doesn't use any petrochemicals. Cuticle pusher is gentle both above and under the nail and the glass buffer is insanely effective. I used to be a big fan of 4 way buffers, but they're not very durable. Tweezerman makes a very nice one w/ replaceable sides so it's more sustainable, but the effort to shine ratio with this glass buffer is insane. Barely any effort gives yields great results. I bought this set as a gift for my partner along w/ the Tweezerman finger/toe nail clippers but will definitely get more for others. My one problem is that there is no case of any sort, so you're expected to figure out how to store these yourself. It may be good to look into some kind of hard case for pencils or something. My off-brand glass file has a plastic scabbard that protects it, so I can throw it in my purse w/o worrying about it snapping in half. I happened to have a small soft case made for holding nail art brushes that I was able to set the plastic tray inside, so it rests perfectly above the nail clippers. That way, they stay securely lodged in the plastic they were sent in and have some protection against being dropped/hit. I imagine leaving them in the plastic tray like that would work if you're keeping them in a vanity drawer or something, but it doesn't look great and isn't super secure/portable. If they had a sleek, unisex velvet or satin lined hard case w/ a zipper and cushioning on the inside to prevent them from breaking, I'd easily pay an extra $5 and they'd earn that 5th star. As long as you know there's no case in advance like I did & have a plan for that, I highly recommend this. Obvi, it's prolly to their advantage to sell them loose b/c you buy more if you break them-- but that kinda undermines the sustainability aspect. Even tho I've been using UV gels lately (which require roughing up the nail instead of buffing it), the tiny bit I did on myself to test the glass buffer makes me seriously tempted to go back to conventional polish or wearing them bare since they look like they have lacquer on them after buffing!

Amazing for natural nails shapkng and biffjnf. It's a new addition to my nails care set and I don't think I'll ever be using regular file on my natural nails. It's so gentle and smooth.

Not impressed with this set. The glass nail file is made in China, and it's a bit to thick and does not file well. The buffer also does not buff great, leaves spots on nails. If you are looking for a glass file go with Chzech or Bohemian glass.
