I bought this as a gift for my brother because his kids knocked his (different brand) zapper over too many times and it finally gave up after falling 3 feet many times. I think this one is better made, but I am hoping it’s not knocked down too many times. They aren’t made for that! This one has a chain and hook. I’m hoping they hang it or keep it out of reach. We found this bug zapper highly effective. It attracts flies and other insects, especially fruit flies, with ease. This is our second bug zapper; the first one was great but made a loud noise when zapping bugs. This one is so quiet that I initially thought it wasn't working, but it efficiently eliminates insects without startling us every time it zaps. Highly recommended for a peaceful, bug-free environment.

Had it for awhile now, but used for the first time and it does the job. It’s super quiet. Kills the dang bugs. Would buy again.

Works great! dones not attract common house flys like others Ive used though, not sure for the reasoning. Othere than that functions well and has one hell of a shock.Othere reviews seem hit and miss tho so quality control is probably not very good, if u get a bad of id have another sent.

Noise level is next to nothing unless a bug just won't die. Easy to clean. The brightness is just enough and doesn't keep me awake. Easy to set up. Design is perfect for my windowsill. Absolutely recommend.

Okay, I seriously I love this.!! My only regret is not buying it sooner, honestly.It is quiet, and it worked nearly immediately! You see, I wasn’t even certain if I had flies in my home at the moment that I had received my bug zapper…However, my boyfriend and I were eager to set it up and give it a go. Within the smallest timeframe of having it on, we had gone back and noticed it had already effectively zapped two flies! in which we weren’t even aware were around…My toddler is terrified of flies, and tends to isolate herself to only one part of our home when they’re being excessive.. So this will be a definite asset to our home in these summer months! As I mentioned before, I only wish I had bought it sooner!Incredibly effective, and incredibly quiet.!

It sure does seem to catch a lot of bugs!
