Like most, I worry about buying something glass and coming to me broken. This was very well wrapped and insulated in the box. Easy to assemble, and the base is thicker glass which didn't heat up after 2 hours of enjoying it lit. Easy to carry. The wick was a bit of work to light just because it was new and needed the oil but it burned just fine.

Out of all the 12" oil lamps sold on Amazon, these are the best and have the widest wicks. These lamps take the 7/8" wicks. They also have the heaviest flue glass of any sold on Amazon. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful, have both of them going right now on my desk, one is bright but both are brighter, just learn about these types of lamps, I have years of experience with candles, just be safe with them, I bought 2 fire extinguishers just in case

I bought 2 packages (4 lamps). They arrive well packaged and no glass was broken. 3 of the lamps worked perfectly. The last one is unusable--it fell apart in my hands when I unwrapped it. Most of the thin metal tabs that hold it together were smashed beyond repair against the bottom of the adjoining part instead of going through the slot. Well designed but beware of poor quality control.

Junk. One was delivered broken. I managed to use the other and it is so cheaply made, I don't think it will last long. The problem is the glass is paper thin -- I am positive the chimney will break as soon as I try to clip it on the lamp base. Save your money and buy an old lantern from a thrift store. They don't make them like they used to.

They look fantastic, glass is sturdy. However, one came with the whick mechanism in multiple pieces. I was able to reassemble it, but they should be usable out of the box. I won't be buying this brand again.

You can never go wrong with a light like this, your candles you thought are wonderful in a zero electricity situation, pale in comparison. These are not bad at all, I remember using these type lights growing up, the memories aren't great but the lights are 😁.
