I grew out my hair a while back while in college as a bet with a friend. It turned out I didn't look too bad as my hair is naturally curly. I joined the military and had it cut short for years, as required. Now that I'm done with that life, I thought I'd grow it out again and it's been a bit of a journey. I was trying different' cremes, and gels, and pastes as I was bumbling through products trying to understand when and how to use them. As my hair got longer, and I learned how to balance the use of different products (to primarily reduce "poofy" hair), I've gotten use to using this product to help reduce frizz, add some control, and add some shine. It's got a decently masculine smell and gets the job done. I'm no hair expert, but couln't really ask for more in what I've stumbled into wanting!

Thank you ArtNaturals for recognizing that those of us with curly, thick, coarser hair, need a little more moisture in the products we use for this type of hair. And to offer it as a cream is one of the best parts! Within my first two days of using I noticed not only did it help with curl definition, the frizzies, and the moisturizing, it gives my hair a healthy, natural shine. It works well on fresh from the shower to a touch up job with slightly dampened hair. My only warning is because of the 3 oils added to it, you will need to shampoo more often than what you’re usually used to with this particular product. A lot of us with this hair type realize it’s a big NO-NO to wash every day, whether you use a conditioner or not. Especially the longer and the thicker the hair, I can go through a bottle of conditioner in a matter of a week or two-and still have it do little to nothing. I’m hoping with this product, the hour or more that it takes to wash, condition, and prepare my hair will lessen!

Great product! However, it is too thick for the pump, I need to remove the pump to get the product from the bottle, which makes it inconvenient. Maybe it should be in a jar style container.

1st review I scored this low and provided the following review: I love the product that’s inside the bottle, but they sent me two out of three bottles that the pump will not pop up and work. It’s now about six months out of the return window and it doesn’t appear that I can get any help to replace them. Update: even though it was past the return window, the company reached out to me and offered a full refund because of the pump’s not working. I was very happy at this offer because like I said, I love this product. Because of their amazing customer service even when I didn’t reach out to them directly, I’m changing my rating 25 stars. Hopefully they have figured out why some of the pumps weren’t working as I’ve never had that happen before. If they read this update, if the bottle was made of a plastic where we could squeeze the thick cream out of, I wouldn’t have taken the time to write a poor review. But I’m very thankful that the company made things right so that I can continue using this staple in my hair care routine.

I have very long, thick, curly Mexican dude hair. This stuff works great, keeps frizz away and lasts a long time. It's the only hair product I use outside washing. It has a nice woodsy smell that doesn't make me smell flowery like other products often do. I get lots of compliments. It doesn't make hair crunchy like gel it holds well but still soft. I've bought it a bunch of times and I will keep buying it.

This smells like men’s cologne which is not how I want my hair to smell. The curls are great, but does not make up for the smell. I will be returning.

This used to be my 5 star product for a long time. Something happened with it. It is so dense it doesn’t even get out of the bottle. Looks old or some bad batch. Last couple of times I purchased it was bad, returned it and repurchased it: bad again. I am done. You lost a loyal customer.

Not only does this keep the frizz on my curls in check, it also somehow gives extra volume. Leaves your hair soft, bouncy and without residue. You have to make sure you rub the product well into your hands or "emulsify" as it suggests.

This is a great product and lasts a long time as you only need a small amount each time. I have tried lots of curl creams over the years and this is one of the better ones. This is my second bottle of this. Would recommend
