On mine the wobble is very slight so its really hard to notice I probably wouldnt have if it wasnt for reading the reviews here. Other than that yes, its not really fit for a full size UK butter but I dont think any are. I have another butter dish that doesnt fit I just use a very simple method of cutting the butter in half length ways and it fits fine so no big issue there either.
