Brewers yeasr has lots of vitamin B. This one is not debittered as per label. This is important because during debitterment process they might have used chemicals Taste is fairly good for brewers yeast. Price point is good

I use brewers yeast in smoothies, baking recipes, oat meal, anything I can put it in. It's a great bag for the price. The product itself has a taste to it but I'm used to it, I don't taste it as much. I use brewers yeast for lactation recipes since I tandem feed both my kids. It's a good product, would definitely buy again plus can't beat that it's organic.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I got this for my dog & cats to make yummy little treats for them to help with dry, itchy skin from the winter months. I was afraid they wouldn’t like it or the treats I made but I was wrong! Yay! They absolutely friggen love them! Not only do they all love the treats I made but they also love to eat their food with this sprinkled on top. That seriously surprised me but I am so thankful! I can see a huge difference in my cats fur after a month. One of my boys even lost weight! He was rockin his winter chub forsure & now he’s back to his normal weight. It was hard to believe at first but that’s the only thing that’s changed in his diet & exercise. My dog prefers the treats over a topping on her food. Here’s the recipe:)1 cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (raw, unrefined, extra virgin, etc. Avoid refined!!! as it doesn't contain the same nutrition)½ Cup Brewer's Yeast (powdered form)That’s it! Melt the coconut oil down to add the yeast & then pour into molds! Let sit in the freezer for 2 hours & then you can pop them out & store in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer for up to 6months. It’s suppose to help repel fleas & tics while also helping with dry, itchy skin & digestion.I will absolutely be reordering this when I run out. 100%!

I went down the rabbit hole reading all the reviews that said this was not brewer’s yeast but in fact nutritional yeast and/or it didn’t work to ferment stuff, etc. I started with the strain of yeast and continued on. Turns out brewer’s yeast is made from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which also happens to be the same yeast that Nutritional Yeast is made of so no this isn’t nutritional yeast just because it uses the same one. I also have a bottle of nutritional yeast, it is yellow and smells completely different, and this one is tanish. I read negative things about the smell, its dead yeast, what do you expect it to smell like? Smells kinda earthy to me, not horrible but not like I want to be sniffing it all day. Speaking of dead yeast, brewer’s yeast is a dead yeast so I can see how it wouldn’t work well to ferment things, I wasn’t looking to get it for that anyhow so I didn’t care.After debunking all these complaints I felt confident buying this product to make lactation cookies. They came out pretty good, consistency was a bit different to regular cookies but they were gluten free with coconut sugar and coconut oil so I expected healthy cookies to not be a PERFECT taste compared to regular cookies. That being said they were pretty good, the internet has these cookie recipes a dime a dozen and all are pretty similar.

Different texture than the other product I was using to get this nutrient. I have had to quit eating gluten & Amazon was the only seller I found with GF brewer's yeast Does not have any taste but I am mixing it with other flavors so that does not matter.

This is a good quality brewer's yeast and tastes good. I love the cheesy flavor.

Works as stated. Saved the start of my colony that I purchased from a big box store. Have a strong colony now. Considering them as a new pet Definite keeper. Will last a long time.

I love all of Anthony's products, but when it comes to Brewer's Yeast, it's the only brand I'll ever buy. I made the mistake of trying a highly-reputable competitor's brand and it was completely unpalatable. It reeked of beer, making everything you added it to taste like beer too. Anthony's, on the other hand, has no trace of that yeasty smell or flavor, and the powder is so fine, it dissolves effortlessly into whatever you mix it in. I'm lactose intolerant, so I use it and Nutritional Yeast as "cheesy" flavor agents in my cooking, and I can confidently say, I will only ever buy Anthony's.
