Like many seniors, I have bad knees. I can walk, but not long distances or on uneven terrain. If I use a cane, my arthritic hands and shoulders become even more painful. This is my life. I plan to have knee replacement but can’t get in for surgery for 6 months. I had to do something and it had to work in my older home with narrow doorways and be light enough for my 80 yo husband to get it in/out of the house and car. Also had it to be powered and able to carry over 225lbs. This was not an easy list to fulfill, especially if we didn’t want to spend over $2000-$3000. I absolutely love this Nixlift mobility chair. This unit is VERY sturdy and smooth. There are no loose fittings, no rattles or flimsy construction. The controller is not loose and wiggly like another model I tried. It is very responsive and the chair has a nearly zero turn radius. It is approximately 24” wide and fits thru my bedroom/bathroom doors. It will move over my carpet. The arm rest raises to allow easy access. The seat is thick and very comfortable, no need to purchase another cushion. It comes with the gray cover shown in other pictures, but I love the black. The lithium battery snaps in and is easy to charge and holds a charge well. The chair folds when you put it in manual which also allows someone to push the occupant. It is still a bit heavy, at 50 lbs, and a little awkward for my husband to lift. The more he does, the easier it gets as he learns to manipulate the front wheels. It worked beautifully in our local members club, a craft store and the grocery store. I even use it to move from my sofa to the kitchen to save my knee. For under $1000 I doubt you could find anything better, I couldn’t even at lot higher prices. This is perfect. Just hope it will last, but only time will tell. There was little to no assembly, insert the controller, charge the battery and connect to the chair. You can install the gray cover it you like it better.

Got this for my grandma before a trip to Japan. Seems sturdy and well made.

This little bag seems to made of nylon, so it feels kind of cheap and thin, but I feel like it will last quite a while. The zipper is smooth with no hanging, and the pockets are sewn securely to the base. The straps are quite high-quality Velcro and supports QUITE a bit of weight securely - I had no fear of the bag falling or tearing, even with my phone, a full water bottle, a power bank, keys, a notebook, pens, flashlight, and a few other small items in the pockets, making it quite heavy. I think the only thing about it is that it was a bit tricky getting it situated right with the Velcro straps - it kept wanting to twist one way or another, and when I removed items the whole bag tended to move around with it. It would be better if there were two more straps at the bottom to just secure it a little better. It was also smaller than I expected - there is plenty of room for a larger bag, but I think I will grow to like how this one is more compact. At first I was going to rate this three stars, just from taking it out of the box and initial handling - but once I tested it by using it, I was impressed enough to increase the rating to four. Nice little bag!

The leg rests are an unbelievable aggravation. When folded up they take up room on the seat and I had a catheter bag for a while and the leg rest design was a problem for me. The rest of the chair is OK. It's a bit too heavy for the guys to put in my car when I need to use the car and I have to use my manual chair. I have ordered a lightweight electric wheelchair that weighs 30# and will donate this one.

Great product and easy to operate. The wheelchair is already put together from shipping. Just plug in a wire into another and voila it’s that easy. More trouble getting it out of the box than getting it unfolded and ready for operation

He loves it! More indépendant. Quality is great, a little heavy putting it in the car but it works and makes him happy! Easy to use!

The connector on the charger does not match the connectors on the chair batteries. Also there is no seat cushion, only the canvas bottom.
