Great product great quality oil mineral . Must buy
Really good product . I recently bought two cutting boards . Both got all flaky when I washed them . The mineral oil came very quickly after buying it .sanded and applied it 2 days in row to both cutting boards . Let it sit for 48 hours and results are great. You see the pictures for yourself and notice the difference. The wood feels great now and color looks great

Reliable Mineral Oil for Cutting Boards and More
I’m happy with this Thirteen Chefs mineral oil for maintaining my cutting board. It soaks in well and keeps the wood conditioned, preventing cracking and drying (when mixed with beeswax pellets). It also works great for other wooden kitchen items like serving spoons and salad bowls. Easy to apply and does exactly what it promises.

MUST HAVE for Teak and Other Wood Cutting Boards to Stop Feeding the family Plastic
MUST HAVE for Teak Cutting Boards to Stop Feeding the family Plastic So we finally GOT IT - Using plastic in the Kitchen especially around food IS NOT HEALTHY - OR consider that a personal opinion - please come to your own… OUR ANSWER was replacing all the plastic Utensils with Bamboo, Stainless, or Food Grade Silicone - That Left the Cutting Boards - Being a Foodie and Chef I can not in good conscience use my precious cutting knives on glass or stainless steel cutting boards - so we switched to Teak - AND if you do the research one of the few ways to prepare and preserve Wood Cutting Boards is Food Grade Mineral Oil… And this is the stuff that you’ll want to reach for - Food Grade - yet reasonably priced - if you have a few teak boards to “feed - you might want to buy it in the next larger size than the one you thought to reach for in the first place. Wood Block Prep, Upkeep and Care: It’s always best to oil-prep your boards before EVER using them - Water is the bane wood block - and your oil prep and lifelong upkeep will make your board last years longer, stay more sanitary and minimize of raised grain - the bane of fine chopping everywhere. 😂 Give yourself I a few days - to a week (if you want to get crazy about this) to prep your boards - Let them soak in as much as they can. Then let them “dry” a day or two before first use. Following prep - consider updating their mineral oil at lesser once a month or week if you use them a lot / or as you notice they begin to go blond on you compared to when they’re freshly oiled. We’re now 8 months into Teak instead of plastic - and our boards are clean - deeply toned with oil and still nearly glass smooth - and I can cut on that! Your deep prep and re-seasoning along with not over-doing the soap and water - or ever leaving them standing in water for any length of time may sound like a hassle - but I’d much rather be hassled a bit up front than feed my family and guests plastic particles - now that I read enough about what consuming plastics may be doing to all of us. Brings a whole new meaning to the One Liner about the future from “The Graduate”: …”One Word: Plastics!” Ugh! Cheers! The FragileRooster
