I'm on the 2nd floor and he can no longer walk up and down the stairs. This has been an absolute lifesaver. I have used this for ~8 mos. now to carry him on my back. It is fully adjustable and works great for me (for reference, I am a 5'5", 120 lbs.). I take him up and down a full flight of stairs at least 3x/day, with ease and no resulting back pain/injuries anywhere. It is very sturdy and well made. I can't recommend this product enough! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works pretty well, needs instructions *by K***R on September 19, 2023* The picture shows my 65 pound (20kg) dog ready to go. You can see my shoulder straps sitting on top. I'm using the harness to carry her up and down a 12 foot ladder onto my boat that is "on the hard" in the boatyard.Overall the harness is well built and well designed. It's strong and comfortable for both of us (considering I'm lifting a 65 pound weight!! 😜).It came with no instructions, so it took me a while to figure out where the 7 straps go around the dog and which end was which (FYI, the end with three openings is the tail end, theoretically allowing the dog to pee, or maybe just to avoid pressure on a male's private parts).Instructions on how to put it on and how to adjust the many straps would have made life easier. I'm still working out thecstrap lengths. This, and a problem with the metal hooks that connect the people side with the dog side, are the cause for dinging the score by one star. All in all it's a good product but the metal hooks need to be a different kind. The two at the bottom repeatedly undid themselves while I was carrying the dog, and one finally just lost the self-close spring, so I have to rehook it every time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Harness Supports whole Body Comfortably *by T***Y on August 12, 2023* I bought this harness sling for my 11 year old 59lb. arthritic Heeler Mix "Hawk" so I could lift his whole body, not just the front or the back, into the pickup. It nicely supports his fused back and hips when I lift up. I am not using the straps that came with the harness just the handles. The straps were assembled and fastened so I didn`t have to figure that part out if I was going to use them. It is wonderful to not have him cry out in pain with this harness as he is lifted.
