So fun
I was very excited to use this product, even without gel application.I watched a few videos and felt confident I could do the application with ease. I applied my normal light color and allowed to drive to approximately 80%. To make sure you don’t smear the polish with a sponge, the video I watched recommended applying with your finger so you can control the pressure. This method works great for me, and I was very pleased with the outcome and shine upon completion.I waited a few minutes and applied my standard top coat, and my nails have looked fantastic.

Works well, but received two of the same color and has a lot of red undertones.
This works really well, I truly do think its a great product. However, the title and product photos are a bit misleading. The listing says you'll receive two colors, and while I received two separate packets of powder, they are both identical with the same color marked off. I'm not sure if this was just a packing error with my order or if they mean to say two powders instead of colors in the description, but it is misleading as currently written.Another comment was that while the powder looks amazing in low light settings and I would say really matches the hailey bieber style, when you look at it under high led or fluorescent lighting there are a lot of red undertones that stand out. It might look great with a red or pink gel color underneath, but I did grey-purple and it doesn't match as well in certain lightings.Overall, I can see myself using it again with more pink and red tinged gel colors, but do with I'd gotten the two powder colors advertised.

So easy to use even for non-gel nails, great iridescent color payoff
I am by no means a pro manicurist, but I wanted to jump on the glazed donut nail trend without going all in as I don't use gel or UV lamps. I was shocked at how easy it was to get the effect, with less effort than when I normally paint my nails! The method outlined below sounds more complicated than it is, it's really easy. Pros, cons, and tips below:METHOD (for regular non-gel nail polish users):1. Paint nails with a thin coat of a white/neutral polish.2. Wait until nail polish is 80% dry - still tacky enough to create a soft fingerprint if you touch it but not enough to smear. If you aren't patient like me you will end up with mistakes like Photo #3.3. Using one side of the provided sponge applicator (I used the white side to keep track), very lightly dab the applicator into the powder, and lightly tap it against the side of the tin to shake off excess (no big deal if you don't but you only need very little powder for this effect and the rest would just be wasted or need to be cleaned off the skin anyway)4. With *little to no pressure* lightly dab the sponge on the surface of the nail, it's ok if it is uneven as you will buff this after.5. Again with a very gentle hand, softly buff/wipe the powder across the nail surface. You'll see the powder go from powdery to a shiny chrome finish!7. Wait for a minute or two and then seal with a clear topcoat.8. Done! It's ok if you get some powder on the skin on the side of the nails, it's super fine so you can either take it off with a Q-tip and polish remover, or a clean finger, or wait till the whole thing is dry and wash your hands gently... the powder will eventually just wipe off.Pros: Looks great, easy way to get into this trend, lasted as long as it took for the underlying polish to eventually chip, came off easily with polish remover. A tiny bit goes very far, so the trend will probably be over before this powder is!Cons: The powder definitely had a mermaid effect, but is not as white/pure pearlescent as the actual Beiber look, so keep that in mind. It is more iridescent than pearlescent. It's hard to photograph but in some lights there was an orangey-red overtone and in some a sea-green-blue mermaid tone.
