Morton Salt Regular Salt, 26 Oz (4 Pack)

I have an allergy to iodine and find it difficult, if not impossible, to locate non-iodized salt at my local markets. Happy to find a reasonable amount online, however, it was fairly expensive in comparison to supermarket prices. I didn’t want to have to buy a 25lb. bag again from the restaurant supply store because storing such a large quantity can be a problematic since my last bag lasted well over 10 years.

Rather than use pesticides I mix dish soap, salt, and white vinegar to kill the weeds that come up in my gravel driveway. I was keeping the salt in the shed and last year it absorbed water and was a mess so had to throw it all out. These I'll keep in the basement in zip lock bags going forward.

I ordered this to make some Science kits, knowing if it spilled all over the box it would be okay. Mine actually turned out alright! I can see how the packaging could become broken/undone (they're wrapped in a thin plastic sheet), but mine were totally intact when they arrived. Thanks for the great value!

It was mostly dented. Also each one was taped all over. After I managed to remove the tape it's all peeled with no sign of the name of the product anymore. It's just salt, I use it for baking. So just hide them in cabinet, no big deal. Sprout is plastic and dented.

I keep licking this stuff!! But it really hurts when it gets in a cut. Try it!! If you think your life is full of pain, at least hear me out!!

I am not able to leave the house now. It is so nice to have what I need delivered to the door by Amazon. I am glad to have the option of no iodine. I am allergic to it.

The photo gave me an impression that these Morton salt containers are the sturdy paper type purchased in stores with the little sticker on top covering a metal spout. But I was fooled! These salt containers are for institutions and have plastic caps, plastic pour spout with no sticker and thin metal bottoms. One of the plastic caps was split wide open spilling contents all over. Another was broken at the bottom leaking some salt. The remaining two had bent metal bottoms but fortunately did not break. The mailman was apologetic, poor guy probably had salt all over his truck.

Its some good salt, gonna take me a year to use this up. Thanks amazon :)
