Nice little tool
A nice little tool for the money. Lots of functions to get by on basic electronics and testing

ease of use
Great little meter, giving accurate readings although you need to try varying scales sometimes to get reading, something I`m told by mechanic friend you have to do with most mutimeters.

Sealey MM20 Digital Multimeter 20 Function with Thermocouple
Very good value multimeter for the price, from a decent manufacturer. The probes are a little flimsy and may not last forever, but there is a good level of functionality and 2dp accuracy which is good enough for any automotive work. Rugged case a bonus although some may find it cheap - but bear in mind you're only paying about £12. Others have noted that there are no crocodile clips in the box which is true. A good item all in all.

Sealey meter with 'combusting' thermocouple
The primary reason for such a low score is because the Thermocouple is potentially dangerous. I tested the meter with the supplied K-type thermocouple and it began to combust at 300degC. There appears no issue with the meter just the thermocouple. Manufacturers sealey spec saysmeasures up to 1000degC. This may be correct but NOT with the thermocouple supplied. the Heatshrink sleeving at the thermocouple end is not designed to reach such temperatures. Sealey's response was disgraceful. only saying I should touch the item under test for a few seconds and remove. This response is negligent as the sleeving was in the heat zone for approx 20seconds. The supplier has been courteous and offered a full refund. Sealey need to take note and amend their literature to state do not use this probe beyond 250degC
