I do a lot of cooking and baking, especially making icing for cakes, so I use a fair amount of shortening. The larger can size is the easiest to use, but it was not available in any stores near me, or if it was, it was VERY expensive. This product was not. It was the best way to buy Crisco at this size.Crisco's quality is why it's the only brand I want to use. It performs well and doesn't have an "off" taste. It keeps well in the cabinet

It's Crisco, the name synonymous with vegetable shortening, and still the best I've used. Cheapest price I've found for the big can. Half a cup for a cake based on a heavily modified whoopie pie recipe: So, so tasty. Not really sure what to say about it other than Crisco has been the go to name for vegetable shortening for so long, and doing it so well, that a half the folks I know just call vegetable shortening Crisco. It's a well earned default.

Tried and true Crisco. The product is great, the shipping...not so much. Out of six, one was missing a lid and three were dented.
