Decent quality plugs that will allow your cable to be as good as your soldering skills.

The pieces that arrived in good condition were easy to solder and worked as expected.Unfortunately, out of 2 packages that I ordered, one of the plugs from each package had been crushed - either at the Amazon warehouse or at the manufacturing plant. There was no damage to the shipping package, but the plugs themselves were shipped in a small plastic zippered baggie.The seller instructed me to contact Amazon for a replacement rather than shipping 2 pieces to replace the damaged plugs. I kept 10 good pieces and returned both damaged items as one return. I received the replacement package quickly, and when opened, I discovered that 2 of the new plugs were also crushed. Ultimately, I had to place an order from a different brand that costs more in order to get a total of 20 good plugs.

Seems like they'll work, but the product received is clearly not the same one pictured. Maybe ok for instrument cable, but for heavy speaker cable, these are less than ideal.The tip lug is much longer than pictuerd, with a smaller hole and more plastic support.The combo sleeve lug/jacket crimp is a different shape and thinner (i.e. flimsy) than pictured.Those two things make soldering a heavier gauge wire to it more difficult, or require modification.The finish on the non-contact areas also looks sandblasted, not brushed or sanded as pictured, and the press fit of the rear circle is sloppy, not crisp as pictured. No functional difference here, just more proof is not the same product.

I used these to modify some cables to use with some acoustic drum triggers. Since these won't see much abuse they work as intended. For the price a great deal.
