LDRC makes 2 models of the Unimog. This being the cheaper model. However, the scale detail is great and while this model is weaker it's still capable as a light trail truck. I highly recommend the upgraded version with dual motors, but this is a great affordable option for a budget.

While the seller went above and beyond to make it right, sadly this particular RC truck was a major disappointment.The truck itself seems very nice, well engineered EXCEPT FOR the woefully undersized drive motor that burned up almost instantly.With the transfer case gearbox, the differentials AND the portal axle secondary reduction gearing, a 260/ 280 drive motor is way too small and lacks the torque required to move a vehicle this heavily geared.The truck is beautiful, it's too bad it's deficient in it's driven mechanisms.

For 50$ you can't beat it it's a hobby grade rc and very upgradeable, metal gears and frame portage axles, lights, doors that open. The single motor does well for the size of the truck which at 1/12 it's pretty big I have duel 370 motors on order for it comes with a gear box that will accept them without having to order a new one. The truck comes with most of the parts you would have to get separately to upgrade it so there is only a few parts you need to make it an awesome crawler saves alot of money. Would recommend this product 100%

nice Rc truck , but is not 1/12 scale is like 1/16 , i buy this to use whit my 1/12 scale figures , do some photos but is small for 1/12 .

I was looking forward to this. But quickly realized it is not 1/12 scale. I stood a 1/12 scale gijoe next to it, and also placed a 4inch(1/18 scale) figure next to it too. If it was to scale to the smaller figure, the bottom window edge should be a few millimeters from the top of the head of the figure. It is closer to 1/16 scale. I did not play with it/kept it at zero wear&tear from me because I would return it. Build and details looked great, just wasn't fitting with my universe.
