Well made. Good value. Use a screw driver to pry lock tab to remove top. The tab fits tight to lock lid down.

This box was much stronger than I expected, you could easily walk on it, I don't think it would support more than a few hundred pounds. Overall the build quality was excellent and the price was great; plus none of the home improvement stores keep these in stock. I hope I never have to install another water line but if I do I will buy another.

I actually cut out maybe 40% from the sides to fit all my 3/4" irrigation pipes and it still holds up like a champ. The cover (lid) I love--you line 'er up and tap it in and yet when you open it, the tab works well. Just well designed. Strongly recommend!

the vault is well made n durable. The 2 protruding nubs at closing slot are little long n make openning little difficult. The 3/8" x 2 1/2"16 bolt for securing is non existent. Would like it but didnt come w it. Its a decent vault n will suffice

There is no bottom of this is, but this is typical for this type box for irrigation. I wanted to enclose some electrical in the ground for my septic system as this was in the middle of the yard. the previous owner has a post sticking up with a garbage can over it os the lawn maintenance people would not run it over. Looked weird, but was effective. I wanted to remove this eye sore and purchased this in ground box sturdy enough for a riding mower can go over it. This was the perfect size to hide all that stuff that was on the post, and i put a wood platform on the bottom so that i could place this right on top and screw it down. filled in the dirt around it and it's no going anywhere and keeps all the electric for the septic system dry and free from being chopped up from mowing the lawn. very happy with this as i no logger have an eye sore in the year any more.

I bought this because I needed to hide a ball valve for my pond and I absolutely refuse to spend $100 on a Rainbird valve box. This, in my opinion is the exact same thing without the brand name price. I do a lot of research before I make a purchase and this has been a great product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

So glad I bought this. A monsoon blew down the brick wall next to my pool heater and destroyed my water valves. I installed new valves and decided to put an enclosure over them this time. So glad I did because my pool guy sprays a heavy stream of water directly on the valves when he backwashes the filters weekly. Without this cover the water stream would have knocked the wiring loose and my plants would have died. This is a must have and great value.

I wanted an underground box for my house’s main valve and check valve just to make it easier for future maintenance in case one gets damaged. I had to cut at least 3 inches because it was too tall. But it works perfect.
