Great for kids park day.
Ideal for packing kid's snacks and lunch for a day out at the park or zoo. Great size, you can find ice packs that fit it perfectly and the insulation keeps it cool for hours even on hot days.

Very Small and Nice to Have With You on the Road
We live about an hour from the grocery store, so buying chicken breasts and stuff that is perishable can be a royal PITA. We bought this and put our meats in it, go to the gas station to fill up, and buy two large cups of ice. (Actually, we get the ice for free as we have our own cup and the attendants at this location are pretty cool.)Remove the meat, dump in a cup of ice, replace the meat, dump in the remaining ice, et voila! We have a couple of hours to get home with the meat untainted by the heat.See, we drive a Jeep Wrangler, and in the hot months we take the top and doors off. Sometimes we forget to use our sedan on nice days, or when we are out rolling through the countryside in the Jeep we realize that we need to hit the grocery store. Having this little guy in the back allows us to safely get that meat home, even without AC or even shelter from direct sunlight for that hour trip to our fridge. We also use it for sandwiches and drinks for outings in the jeep with some of those blue, reusable chem pack coolers. We like this for the shopping aspect enough that we are going to get a larger one for the trunk of our car or the back of the Jeep.Nice and super inexpensive. Very handy to have with you at times. Takes up very little space. Washes out easily.

I want another one...
Great cooler! I always love these hard case "old fashion" coolers. I find that food stays cold longer than those made out of some other type of material. My kid uses them at a camp, so the cooler is outside in the heat all day long and the food stays cool. I have the matching water jug, also by Coleman (but purchased elsewhere) that I put water in with 4 pieces of ice. At the end of the day, when my kid brings home the jug, the water is still cold. I mention this so that you know that Coleman makes great coolers. The cooler's inside cover can be removed and flipped over to create a little lunch table to hold drinks and a sandwich. Great for the beach. Best to use the thick ice packs v. the thin ones that are being sold. I've also used ice in a Ziplock freezer baggie. Just make sure your child understands that when it starts to melt, they need to throw out the water! I'm paranoid about food poisoning so I take extra measures. You can't go wrong with this cooler. Btw, the cooler measures: 10" W X 7 1/2" D X 7" H. I also perfectly fits a six pack can of soda (8 oz. cans) with space on top. For those of you who don't know, the ice packs should go on top of the food as the cold air travels down. I put packs on the top and bottom.

Great product!
Awesome personal cooler! I use it most when we go skate and take road trips. Can hold 6 cans plus a little ice. I usually throw two beers and a 16 oz. water bottle in there and am still able to put a couple pounds of ice in and close the top. Doesn’t hold ice for a crazy long time, probably average, but it’s just enough for whatever your personal need is for. I’ll take a larger nicer cooler and fill it with beers, snacks, water, etc. and then take a few out and put in this one as needed. I also use it to sit on while I film. This is the only area I discovered a minute issue. The top can flip over like a tray to place your drink on, however, do to that the top is less sturdy than you would think. The normal consumer probably wouldn’t even notice this, the only reason I did is because I sit on it a lot and have dented it in. This does not affect the performance though. It holds temperature as well as it did before it was dented. And I know this isn’t intended to sit on I just thought I’d throw that in there. Overall it’s a wonderful product! I love it even more than I thought I would.

It's a tiny cooler. I like it.
Pretty simple product. It does a good job at keeping stuff cold.I will say that this is an EXTREMELY small cooler. Basically a lunch pail. It's exactly what I wanted, but be sure you know what you're buying. You can fit two standard beer bottles lying down horizontally, but diagonally, in it, with some ice packed around it. You can fit a few cans--I believe six cans? You can put a sandwich, a bunch of fruit, ice, and a drink for lunch. I've filled this with mini bottles, mixers, and ice and taken it to an outdoor event. But it's NOT a big cooler. Please read the measurements. The snap lid is good, the cooler is sturdy, the lid flips over and slides to make a little tray table. It's nice. Would recommend for all tiny cooler enthusiasts.

Great Cooler!
I have several of these Coleman coolers in different sizes and like the others, this compact cooler is exceptional quality. I like the ruggedness of these coolers and the way the lid attaches to the main compartment is a lot neater than hinges and latches that are always needing replacement. The handle folds in close to the unit and this keeps it out of the way and more integrated with the profile of the cooler. While it may not keep items cold for as long as some other more expensive manufacturer's products, it works perfectly well for short trips using Coleman chillers or ice. It has a wide flat base that prevents the cooler from overturning and flat outside walls that take up no more footprint than necessary. I would definitely buy this cooler over more higher priced units for its outstanding build quality and value.
