Sew it on
I ironed these on first then sewed the patches on. So far so good. I like that it matches the material and so far seems durable. My Carharts are worn hard and these will extend the life and usefulness. If you have a sewing machine I would recommend sewing them down

I wear the pants
Installed on 2 well worn pairs of canvas Kuhl’s that I wanted to keep going for work. Easy iron on, just follow the instructions. I will update in 6 months or sooner if they start to peel.

Came off after one wash.
These patches are crap compared to other cheaper patches on amazon. They came off after a single wash.
