To start, it has no instructions... that said, I do not see them as being necessary as it was simple to put together. The one thing I did not like in that regard, however, was the list of materials was incomplete... it did not list the nuts and bolts (for instance) so I had to count holes to determine if all the bolts were there prior to starting to put it together. If you look at the package contents on the product page, that is the same list in the box. One nice thing that is not mentioned is that it includes a bag for carrying the disassembled unit (though, to use it properly, the tripod needs to come apart more than I care to take it down). This one is taller than the other tripods I was looking at in the 300-500 lb range. It also has a wider stance at the bottom, where there were some complaints about the smaller ones tipping, this one is stable. The winch seems OK, I've only used it once since getting it and it was a small boar but it held up well but I can't say how it would do getting up towards 500lbs. If the winch gives out, I plan to just put in a set of pulleys and use rope instead of cable. The poles (which is what the stakes in the package includes is referring to) seem to be sturdy.

I'm not sure who the hell designed this or fabricated it, but paracord would work better. Bolts were too short, bolts were missing, the pulley system is rougher than the gravel road I drive to get to the lease. Dude should be fired. Don't waste your money.
