I brought these as a last min gift after completely forgetting a friends daughters birthday... arrived on her actual birthday, thank the stars for next day delivery... she loved them, the sun capture was her favourite, they spent hours making pretty gifts very easy to use with minimal mess.

The media could not be loaded.  My daughter absolutely adores this keyring crafting set! The set offers a delightful variety of 4 fun shapes to work with, along with 4 vibrant paint tubes (blue, yellow, green, and pink) that add a pop of colour to the creations. Additionally, there is a bag of assorted beads, as well as 3 bags of sequins, allowing for endless possibilities in design. One of the best features of this set is its simplicity. The included guide is clear and easy to follow, making it a breeze for my daughter to get started. She found the entire process incredibly enjoyable and engaging, and it kept her happily occupied for quite a while. All you need to do is to squeeze the paint tubes into the key chain grooves, then decorate using beads, sequins, or both. After patiently waiting for it to dry, attached the key ring. I would have preferred if the tube tips were a little finer so that she could decorate the smallest areas of the forms more easily. What made this crafting experience truly special for my daughter was the freedom to create her own unique designs. She loved experimenting with different combinations of paints, mixing colours to achieve a custom look. The excitement of adding the finished key rings to her lunch bag and school bag brought her immense joy and a sense of pride in her creative accomplishments. Overall, this keyring crafting set offers a delightful and entertaining way to decorate key rings. The set's ease of use, coupled with the variety of shapes, paints, beads, and sequins, made it an enjoyable experience. It’s a lovely, fun, and creative activity for children who enjoy expressing themselves through crafts.

I purchased this to gift to a 5 year old. It looks uncomplicated and doesn't have too many steps so she won't get bored half way through.Packaging is easy to get into and the paint tubes are just the right size for little hands.

Lovely designs and a good activity to do

You get everything you need is in the kit to get started, with bits and bobs to make four sun catcher keyrings.In the box you get the four unadorned plastic sun catcher shapes, four colouring pens, four clips with keyrings, and four little packets with sparkly goodness. The shapes are probably designed to match the stereotypical interests for both boys and girls, with a rainbow and mermaid tail, plus a planet and a dinosaur. As a woman, that’s right, a grown woman who wanted these to do while recovering from major surgery, I’m quite fond of the dinosaur!There's no real negatives for me here apart from one small thing. Everything in my box was in good shape, but the only thing I’d say about this is the packaging; things were loose inside the box and could have easily been damaged, so having it better organised and protected inside would be better.The set is a brilliant idea for creativity and fun, but also so you get quite a cool end product. They’re described as sun catcher keyrings but I think that you could use them as keyrings or even stick them on the window if you wanted to. There’s a little hole at the top of each plastic design where the keyring chain goes through, so you could attach a little string and pop that on a sticky hook in the window.The kit is quite basic and yet the contents are better than your standard budget craft kits for kids, and I’d say it’s a good price at £6.99 (at the time of writing). I really like what you get and I think the packets of glitter and sparkles is a fab idea to set it apart from the crowd a little. The quality is good, everything works well, and it can provide a lot of entertainment and fun for kids (or adults!) It’s a brilliant set that sparks some creativity and imagination, with the finished products being items that can be used and cherished rather than binned and forgotten about.

My daughter hasn't quite learned what 'less is more' meansThis set should contain all that is required to create 4 nice suncatcher keyrings. It might have been nice to have had suckers to fix them to a window, but instead they contain chains to add them to a keyset or bag (seems to be fashionable at the moment to accessorize).My 6 year old daughter was left to her own devices (with an apron on!) and did the keychain quietly concentrating on what she was doing. The instructions are OK, they even suggest putting down a piece of paper to catch the glitter pieces for re-use.The set has 4 acrylic surrounds which are nice pictures. They have raised edges and ridges (where the black is) which allows one to put in a puddle (or in my daughter's case, a lake) of the supplied paints. There appears to be a decent amount of paint (we haven't done them all yet - spreading out the fun, but it looks like there should be some paint left over). Once you have created your lake of paint then you can sprinkle on some of the accessorizing glitter or beads. The glitter pieces are not standard squares, but are little hearts etc. which make them even more fun.The glitter sticks well into the solidified paint and to my daughter's eye has made some very fetching accessories.The paint was easy for my 6 year old daughter to squeeze out. There was one issue with one of the tubes that it opened completely rather than with the nozzle when it was unscrewed. This involved 5 minutes of me rotating the nozzle out of the cap with a scalpel. Otherwise the activity continued without much need for me an adult _needing_ to be involved (your mileage may vary).If you are looking for something to fill some time in at the summer holidays, or as a small gift/filler, then I think this is a great set.
