Will the hose connect to a pressure washer?

Will this work for a salt water fish tank?

Yes, I assume you mean emptying the tank. But you should pump non saline water through it after use.

Can this pump out the water in my sump if I need to replace it?

Yes! It does not replace a sump pump, but it will move some water. I pumped my 35 gallon tank for my trailer in 7 minutes. The pump comes with 2 male fittings on it. You may need to get a 3/4 to 3/4 female garden hose fitting to adapt one side of the pump.

What battery do you need?

12 volts, I I purchased plug in 120v . extremely sad performance. Only very light duty. I feel that I wasted the money the pump is so light duty May as well use it for an aquarium pump. If you need to do an important task then perhaps consider a different pump.
