Beat Fishing Rod on Earth!
This is one product very well packaged a solid card board cylinder that you can use for storage of your new fishing rod when not in use. The rod itself is made to flawless specifications. I waited many years to find a fishing rod of this quality The St. Croix fishing rods are superior to any other brand I have looked at. The prices of the rods are very competative especially for the material used to create these rods and you are recieving a product made in the USA !

All i use are St.Croix poles now...
I don't think you can go wrong with a St.Croix premier. Its a great pole, for a great price. As they say you get what you pay for...Action, backbone and feeling is great... This is a solid pole... I have and 4 St.Croix poles 2 casting, 2 spinning... They have been a great investment for me...

Amazing
Not much to dislike about this rod. It’s light weight, you can feel almost everything and it’s beautiful. Only downside for me is the location of the hook keeper wish it was on the side or bottom not under the main line path.

This volume is because they are simply good, long lasting graphite rods
About the 11th or 12th St.Croix rod I have bought to date. This volume is because they are simply good, long lasting graphite rods. I have several Triumph's, Mojo's, and now another Premier. This seven footer is an absolute workhorse, I paired it with a Daiwa Zillon TWS with 17 lb fluorocarbon for all purpose. Full-corks are classic and comfortable if you have large hands. Only "drawback" is that you may need to re-seal the cork every few seasons, no big project. There are lighter rods in the same price range, but St. Croix rods are very durable in my experience.

Really nice rod.
Heard about this company for a long time. Even though I didn't purchase their top of the line rod - you can tell this is quality product. Would definitely buy again ....

Broke while stringing rod
rod was in rod holder and went to tie a lure on and the tip was bend slightly and the rod snapped in half. Have reached out to St Croix twice in the last 10 days and received ZERO response. Only able to use the rod twice. Very expensive rod to snap so quickly and then get no response from manufacturer. Will likely have to switch back to ugly sticks

Greatness
This rod may be priced in the middle range, but it performs as well as a higher cost rod. The graphite keeps it light and yet strong. The medium/Heavy is not nearly as stiff as some of the competitors, and can launch your lure/bait with ease. St. Croix has been and will continue to be a favorite to many who try it out.
