wantdo Women's Winter Thicken Jacket Cotton Coat with Removable Hood

I ordered this to have a warm, nice looking coat for very cold days. It came quickly and was packaged very well. I took it out of the packaging and tried it on, it fit well, the waist was big, but I just used the waist cincher ties and adjusted it to my liking. It needed to be washed and dried a little bit, as it was very wrinkled. After washing and drying only a bit in the dryer, I then hung it up to air dry and all the wrinkles just fell out! I'm short, so it comes down to about mid thigh, which suits me just fine! I wore it outside in the 6 degree weather to walk my pup and stayed toasty warm! The pockets are lined with a soft, cozy, fleecy material and help to keep my hands warm too, plus there is an extra pocket inside to use if you need it. There's also a lined hood, if you like hoods. I took it off, but kept in just in case! I am very well pleased with this coat and would highly recommend it to anyone.

EDITED: after having this for a few days, just edited to say I'm definitely sticking with the 10; as it seems like a couple of layers underneath (a shirt and a sweater) just fit, and I don't know that a sweater would fit under an 8.Based on reviews I read, I got the size 10 jacket. (I'm 5'2, around 120 lbs, and wear a 34E). I may exchange for an 8, but the 10 is definitely doable, and would allow for layering over a big sweater.First impressions: heavyweight, warm, stylish, much higher quality than I expected. Pretty happy about those things, especially as I was concerned about buying a jacket without trying it on from a brand I don't recognize, and half expected it to be either made really poorly, too small in the chest or hips (where I carry most of my weight), or to smell funny (I've had these experiences before.)The arms ARE a little long (I don't mind at all, because I can keep my hands warmer that way). I'm sadder that the inner knit cuffs, a feature I love in coats, are for much bigger wrists than I have. They slide right over my fists, so, they won't really work for the purpose of sealing in heat at the wrist. That's part of the reason I'd like to try the size 8. Still, it's a bit nitpicky, and maybe if I wore really thick gloves, they'd go over those.I think the zipper is on the "wrong" side for women, but that's not a criticism so much as an quirky observation.Pros:Warm and heavyweight. (I love the fleecy interior, and the arms seem to be well padded, has those knit inner cuffs, and it has those side hand-warming pockets in addition to the regular snap pockets.)Well-made. (At least like it's not going to fall apart in a couple of months if I treat it well.)Definitely not too small.StylishCons:Actually a little bigger than expected in some respects:the jacket is thick with insulation and big enough at this size to allow layering, so it may not be as flattering as a jacket that was closer-cut,cuffs could be a little tighter for wrists,arms are pretty long,But again, these aren't terrible things in my view, and could have some advantages.I am really much happier with this coat than I expected, and will either keep the 10 or exchange for an 8 (again, edited a couple of days later to say I'm definitely keeping the 10!)

Super warm and thick love all the pockets. Very comfortable and fit well. Don't super love the color

Upsides - As someone who just moved North, this is my first real winter jacket and it's super cozy. The lining is nice and soft (Especially the hand pockets), and the fabric is quiet, unlike a windbreaker. I sometimes even wear it in the house when I'm too lazy to turn the heat up, and I don't mind at all.Downsides - The hood is a little short so my glasses still get wet if I have it pulled up. The waist cinch is a little annoying because it either hangs loose or you have loops that align perfectly with the decorative button loops so sometimes I grab the wrong loop. I haven't worn it in a downpour yet, but it doesn't seem water proof, as the fabric has remained wet after coming inside, so I'm not sure how well it would protect you.

I really love this coat! I live in NJ and it can get chilly, but I "mainly" bought it because we vacation in northern Maine in late fall in an off-grid cabin, and it can get super cold up there. This coat kept me warm and toasty the whole time. I'm 5'7", 135lbs with a 34"EEE bust and the medium fit perfectly. It's very flattering because you can adjust the waist size. The pockets are great. I'm that person who is normally chilly if it's under 70 degrees, but this coat is amazingly warm and easy to move around in. Shoveled snow today for 2 hours in single digit weather and was super warm and dry.I honestly just purchased this coat today again in black (originally purchased khaki and love!) I told my husband that I wanted one in every color!

Pros:- Double-layered side pockets with both top openings for belongings and WARM slanted pockets to keep hands warm.- Has both zipper and snap buttons- Definitely warm and cozyCons:- NOT NOT NOT at all water proof. This was not at all clear to me. The outer lining does feel like good quality, but water soaks right into the lining. I think this would be the #1 reason I'd have to return this.- Bulky and heavy. The waist ties don't do much for the figure. It's a bulky masculine cut and not the stylish coat I was looking for- Sherpa lining feels like cheap materialConclusion:This is a nice and comfy coat, but unfortunately not what I was looking for. I want a more stylish and practical coat that is at least a little bit water resistant.

I am so happy with this coat! It's heavy and warm and the material is super comfortable. I was not expecting to be as happy with it as I am. Also was true to size, I ordered a small (5'3" 130 lbs) and it is perfect.

This coat is warm. I originally ordered the wrong size (large). It fit but not a lot of wiggle room in it. Ordered the extra large & it’s perfect. I can wear a heavy hoodie or sweater IF needed. I love the look and feel of this coat.

Great fit, beautiful color. I have not worn it as yet so I cannot attest to how warm it is.

As advised- fit was good / as stated. Looks to be manufactured well . Time will tell

Very nice, comfortable and warm. My only complaint is that it isn’t as form fitting, like the picture shows as I would like it to be.

The jacket seems warm, though, haven't worn it yet. Our winter has yet to arrive, which is unusual. But when I undid the toggles, one of the toggles breaks in half, without my doing anything. I tried the jacket on and fits great! So I am trying to decide if I should send it back.
