I didn’t realize how much guesswork I was doing in the kitchen until I got this infrared thermometer. Now I know exactly when my cast iron is at the perfect searing temp (usually around 400–450°F for me), and it’s made a huge difference in the crust on steaks and chicken.I also use it to check surface temps on my griddle and even my air fryer basket. Way more accurate than the old “splash water and hope” method. It’s fast, accurate, and way more fun to use than I expected. Bonus: I started using it for my meal prep containers to check if they’re reheated evenly.If you’re serious about cooking—or just want to stop burning the first pancake—this thing is lowkey essential.

This works great right out of the box. I used it check the temperature of my intake manifold, radiator and hoses. I also used it to check how cold the air was blowing out of mt a/c vents. Keep it in a room tempature place, not in your car or hot garage!

Accurate for the most part. Can be a degree up or down at times compared to other readings but is mostly accurate.

Works better than expected and very accurate. I keep this in my glovebox and use it to randomly check my boat trailer wheel bearings for excessive heat.

These temperature guns are amazing. They are very lightweight and fit very easily into a sales kit or product bag. The temperature gauge is spot on and is an invaluable tool when assisting homeowners understand potential energy loss in their home. It was delivered exactly when projected. Very good experience.

Decent value that gets the job done. For the money, you can't expect greatness. Does it read temperatures? Yes. Are they 100% accurate? Meh. I bought this to track down a leaking injector on my 1 ton and it showed me that there was a definite difference in cylinder temperatures, but seems to have an issue giving accurate or consistent temperatures for AC vents in the house. It works well enough for what I needed it for, and seems fairly durable. The laser is WAY off, so you have to figure out where the sensor is actually pointing.
