Cheap solution for bulky garden waste that’s going to take a long time to rot
I have two of these composters for slow composting of couch grass. I previously composted this type of ware in black sacs for 3 years. This solution is much neater but still a bit unsightly..It’s not robust enough to turn regularly when full. But then turning it upside down when it’s packed isn’t really going to mix your compost and it won’t roll. The handles have torn of when I tried to turn it. It looks a bit messy when it’s not full-sags as there’s no internal support. The zip doesn’t work well if there is mud so I think that this composter is a good solution if you’re not in a hurry, don’t want to drag garden waste through your house and don’t really intend to be turning it regularly and won’t need to open it too often. It’s probably a good solution for an allotment garden due to low cost.We also used the bin to transport seaweed in the car- the composter survived but it was a bit heavy for the handles tbh. The handles of one pulled away. We haven’t put food waste in the bin-doesn’t inspire confidence as to resistant to rats. I have a third one that I think will be useful for storing twiggy waste before layering in my fast weed free main compost bin. The composter that’s in direct sun reaches good temperatures as does one that has too much grass clippings, but it’s simply not big enough to reach high temperatures in our cool maritime climate. My Christmas tree was broken up and layered with seaweed from storms and shreddded cbrown cardboard from gifts and even in a shady spot for 9 months now has a twiggy mulch for top dressing fruit bushes. I’ve got a fourth one of these bins just so I can be starting a new batch of compost and stop adding to the top of my ridged Dalek plastic bin so I can turn it .

You get what you pay for
I was requested to write a review too soon, as I have only been using the product for a few days, so need to wait and see whether it composts effectively. However it is as described. The only negative comment I have so far is that the zip is a bit flimsy. But you get what you pay for and this product is inexpensive and if it composts effectively, then great.

Does everything its designed to do
Bought 2 of these and have already filled one and half filled the other, much larger than I imagined, very useful but rather heavy to move when filled. Much better than the previous plastic solid compost bin I have which the lid has broken when the wind got underneath it. Sturdy and takes minutes to assemble, does a good job would cerntainly recommend to friends and family.

Ok for temporary - not quality
This was ok at first. I bought it to try out composting and didn’t want to spend a lot in case I didn’t carry it on. The material is ok - waterproof and hasn’t ripped but the zip is not good quality. It broke after a couple of months. Left it open for a couple of days and now have a fly infestation. Would recommend one of the sturdy plastic bins with a proper lid.

So far so good - well, not quite that good
We yet have to see if our compost will turn out to be as good as the producers of this composter claim, but this is a hight quality product, sold at a very reasonable price. It looks sturdy, the zip is very strong and so is the velcro opening. An update to follow in spring.Unfortunately the spring came and the lid on the composter fell apart in couple of pieces making it useless. Vendor was slow in responding, confirmed they were sending a new item that never arrived, fortunately Amazon was fast in providing full refund. Overall waste of money as not only we do not have composter but the compost we were collecting whole winter will not be usable

Wow !
Here I was shredding my blackberry bushes ready to take to the tip and then I remembered I had these two compost bags. They are massive and straight away I stopped shredding and started to fill these composter bins up. They are light, strong and massive. The bin Velcro flaps at the bottom of the bin are strong enough to hold in the garden clippings in when you move it about. As are the two strap handles. Just bought four more - big garden ! Also big enough to store shredder in.

Work but not able to withstand Saudi environment.
These do work, it was interesting to have a 3/4 bag of fruit/veg trimmings, grass cuttings leaves, twigs etc and watch it change into a 1/4 bag full of compost like material. However I live in Saudi Arabia and the material did not survive the dry heat. After around 8 months both bags split. I would imagine in a less severe environment they would survive for longer. I now just pike my stuff up in a corner but it is not so effective.

Made compost in quick time
Purchased this after reading a ton of reviews and not wanting to get an expensive container nor one which involves the worm participation! I'm a first time composter so wasn't sure whether it would actually work but I was pleasantly surprised that after four months of depositing plant waste, grass cuttings, conifer tree trimmings and tree leaves from July until November,, lifting the flap I was pleasantly surprised to see very dark, perfectly formed compost and being a novice, I only turned the contents about three times. There was one large mango seed, which understandably did not break down, but everything else turned to earth. I didn't realise it would have been so rapid but I already have a bag of shop bought peat and it looked exactly the same. The bag is now three quarters full but during the summer months, I used to drag the bag to clean underneath it and the handles were strong enough for me to pull on without breaking and the bag was very heavy. It's now December and I would n't attempt to move the bag now until I take out the reconstituted contends in spring. I would definitely recommend for small gardens or first timers or even those who are cheap, like me!

Saco chungo
La idea muy buena. El material se lo come el sol. Fatal

El material se degrada
El material se ha degradado en menos de un mes y medio, con el sol (no a pleno sol) se ha rajado la tapa y el material se está descomponiendo. Una pena, el concepto era bueno....
