She is a beginner who will be taking grade 1 in 2025 and I would say the pieces in this book are grade 1 standard. There are a couple that could be bordering on grade 2 but overall they are easy. The arrangements sound as you'd hope they would and there are some little christmas activities throughout the book for the kids. I'm not sure the activities are adding much value to the book but it does make use of the white space that would otherwise be there. If you're looking for a book that has some easy to play christmas songs, whether kids.or adults, I can definitely recommend this one. Review: Pity about lack of words to the songs - Very nice book but a bit hard for pre-grade 1. More like post-grade 1 standard.
