Beautiful cookbook! Easy Italian comfort recipes with a hug!
OMG! A beautiful new cookbook chock full of fabulous Italian comfort food recipes, photos, tips and tricks from my favorite Italian Meatball, Dan Pelosi! So far I’ve made the vodka sauce and the piri piri chicken, they are to die for! I’ve been following Dan on IG @grossypelosi for years, he’s authentic, positive, funny, creative, kind, talented, and sharing of his life, and now shares his most loved recipes with us. I’m delighted that I can now have him in my kitchen and share him with my friends, I bought 4 books as gifts!

So much more than a Cookbook, it's your essential guide to joy
I have not put this book down since it arrived. It's so much more than the outrageously delicious and easy to prepare recipes. The family lore, gorgeous design, fun photography and useful tips will have you falling in love with every page. And it's already making me a better cook -- maybe even a better person?

A delight...to your mouth and your soul!
I've been following Dan (Grossy Pelosy) for several years on Instagram and have made some of his classic recipes (the Sawce IYKYK) and when he announced he was releasing a cookbook I hit that pre-order so fast! The cookbook is a joy to read and cook through. I have made his Early Dismissal Pot Roast, Caponata, Green Beans, the Sawce (again), the broccolini sausage pasta, rice pudding, and I think I am forgetting one. They have all been phenomenal. The Pot Roast and the Caponata were AMAZING, but don't sleep on the broccolini pasta so simple and so good. There are many recipes I still plan to make.(I am gluten free and there are a lot of gluten recipes, asides from the fried appetizer section I would say most of these can easily be made gf, his mom is gf so he usually just recommends using cup-for-cup which I have done for his recipes before and they've always turned out.)I saw this self-proclaimed "Meatball" on his book tour in Seattle and he's such a wonderful guy, support him and buy this cookbook. It was a fab Christmas present for my family too!

There’s something really special about a friend introducing you to a family recipe. There’s always so much pride, heart and love behind the introduction, and this entire book is filled with all of those things. Dan’s debut cookbook is a warm, wonderful intro to all of his best family-inspired recipes, and it’s as fun and delicious as his Instagram. It’s packed with great recipes, but it’s also filled with thoughtful extras like grocery lists, deep cleaning tips, how-to guides and more. I can’t wait to make everything in this book!!!

Worth the Wait
I ordered this book on June 9th and have been waiting the entire humid, hot summer to receive it. Y'all, it's SO GOOD! I sat down with it yesterday afternoon and decided to flip through it, check it out. What's happened is that I'm reading it like a novel! I took a break to roast some vegetables (see p 96-97), but I don't want to cook until I've finished it. I'm almost done. It's a feast for the eyes. The photographs are beautiful and the food (and people) well lighted. The recipes (stories, really) are easily understandable. I know I'll feel like Dan is right by my side when I make those giant meatballs. The organization of the cookbook makes sense, it's easy to find things. The very best part is the love that just bursts out of the book on every page. I'm going through a hard time with my health right now and having this collection of family stories and good food is really getting me through. As soon as the store opens I'm going to buy an eggplant and make the Whole Roasted Eggplant with Calabrian Chili Crisp. I've always been intimidated by eggplant but those days are over. Buy this cookbook, I know you'll enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying it!

This book is not only beautifully done, but also has some really great classic and creative Italian recipes. Happy I purchased!

The first cookbook I’ve ever bought myself (and you can adult with me too!)
Let’s Eat is a beautiful book chock full of recipes that I can’t wait to cook. As a longtime fan of Grossy Pelosi I was so excited to order this and I can’t love it more. There are tons of recipes that are accessible to a regular home cook or busy parent, plus a bunch of super handy guides dealing with everything from cleaning your kitchen to roasting vegetables. Pure recipe genius all wrapped in beautiful pictures and loving stories! There are already a few Grossy recipes that I make regularly and my family love, I’m excited to add more to my repertoire with this awesome book! Been thinking about how these recipes will be cooked and enjoyed so much over the years, my kid will grow up thinking of them as “Mom’s” chicken parm or pot roast… these are recipes that will become a part of your family for generations. When it comes to this cookbook, “I live here now.”

Comfy, cozy recipes for your friends and family!
Dan has been a beloved follow of mine for a while now, I knew I needed his cookbook when he announced it! These recipes are so full of love for family, friends, food, fun, and love. You’ll want to make all of these for your people’s, and use his dinner party guides to set the menu! The pictures are amazing and the extra tidbits (cleaning tips from his mom!? Genius!) are truly just the icing on the cake. I cannot wait to cook my way through this book, everything looks great!

This book, like Dan’s writing, just shines. My 94 year old, sometimes off her food, grandmother said “oh, now THIS sounds good!” several times when flipping through. There is simply no greater endorsement.
