Presented in a nice box and inside is a protective sponge holder. There is a strong plastic cover over the cutter part. There is an obvious right way and wrong way to use these and they have a curve in them which helps to cut the nail. They are shaped like pliers/wire cutters and have a sturdy soft grip handle with an attached lever which you position on the opposite metal part of the handle, this acts as a spring mechanism so the cutters stay open for ease. The cutter part is very sharp and I found it cut my thick large toenail with ease. There is also a spare lever in case you need one. Excellent blades, cut tough toe nails with ease. Comfortable in the hand, easy to use. The shape of the blades allows access to ingrowing nails. Good performance and defiantly good value for the money.
