These would be an excellent party bag favour or classroom prize, being nicely packed for individual gifting and offering decent value for money at £17.99 at time of review. The kits themselves are also genuinely quite charming, if less creative than some of their competitors. You get 15 individually boxed sets, each one containing a wooden stylus and a tiny scratch art notebook with 8 different animal designs. As an art educator, I do prefer blank pages for children’s own designs, whereas these feature a sketch of an animal that the children scratch away in their choice of pattern to reveal the colours underneath. It is more formulaic, but it does yield a nice result and there is still some room for individual expression. They will provide some mindful time in the making too, so infinitely preferable to the usual cheap plastic tat you find in party bags.

These scratch pads are a huge hit with kids- bright, colorful, and great for creative fun! They make awesome party favors, but be warned: the black specks get everywhere. If you try wiping them with a dry cloth, the ink smudges like crazy. A damp cloth works best, or honestly, just grab a vacuum and save yourself the trouble. Fun small product, just be ready for the cleanup!
