Excellent product. I've owned several ScubaPro dive gear and knew it was going to meet my expectations. This mask is great for fraction of the cost of other masks. Fit is perfect for a small face. Snorkel is good, has a purge valve that makes clearing easy and with little effort.

I tried the Scubapro Trinidad Adult Combo, and it was okay overall. The mask and snorkel work fine and get the job done, but the strap holder feels a bit flimsy and looks like it could wear out or break over time. It hasn’t failed yet, but it’s something I’ll be keeping an eye on. For now, it works—but durability might be a concern long term.

The strap connects to the mask via a pathetic piece of neoprene. Unsurprisingly, it tore within 3 months of regular use, thus ruining the mask. A good mask should easily last for years of regular use. This is clearly a case of planned obsolescence. Jokes on them, my next mask will not be a Scubapro. Note that I am a very experienced diver/free diver, so I know how to adjust a mask correctly. This was not a case of over tightening, and even if it was over tightened, the strap should fail long before the mask itself does.

I scuba dived a lot when I was in high school and college: long, long ago. Went all over the world encountering all kinds of situations. I even did a low-difficulty cave dive... it scared the hell out of me. Back then, my Scubapro gear never failed me. Now, I needed a mask and snorkel for a simple task in a fresh-water lake. Back when I was young, everyone said that Scubapro doesn't make junk. Well, I guess this is still true. This is an excellent mask for the meager price. Makes me wonder what the high-quality stuff is like these days.
