Great little starter reader books wonderful way to get the kids active with reading

I love how it includes ALL four levels of reading in this package deal. It's cheap and the books are awesome and small for little readers. My 7y.o LOVES these and is learning to read better because of these books!! I adore them and I'm so happy her and I can read them everyday together!!

These books are great for beginners. Most books in stores are for parents to read to their children. I been looking for books that they can read to me. I love this collection. The books are super thin so the child doesn’t get frustrated or intimidated with the size of the books. It’s lightweight which is also a plus and my kids can carry a couple in their purse if needed. Kids can have a short attention span and 5 minutes out their time is one story completed. Of course repetition will help them learn and they can read the same stories over and over. It’s really good for kids that are transitioning into reading and learning sight words. I approve this set

I used these black-and-white phonics books with an early reader and wanted to spend some time with them before reviewing. I appreciate the simple, no-color layout, which keeps distractions to a minimum and makes the pages easy to focus on. That said, I found that some of the words and sentence structures felt more challenging than expected for true beginners. While the books are short and manageable, many early readers may still need adult support to work through the text rather than being able to read independently right away. The concept of having multiple phonics-based books is helpful for repeated practice, and the black-and-white format works well for skill building. These seem better suited for children who already have basic phonics confidence rather than those just starting out. Books are smaller than expected. Package was a disaster and a mess

I knew when I purchased these that they were small and no colors in the books from the reviews. These books are so cute! My daughter loves choosing a few to read each day! She is so proud of herself when she can read them all the way through without my help! I would definitely recommend these books!

My grandson loves that he can read the books through level b starting on level c. He competed first grade on virtual school. Sight words are his biggest challenge. These books have helped him with his reading. Since the pictures are in black and white he can use his colored pencils to color them. Develops motor skills.
