There was no threading on the pipe where it connects to the sink drain. This might not be an issue for a lot of people, but it was a workaround for me.

So I’ve been renovating my bathroom vanity. I recently made a vanity table and was in the process of replacing the p trap (again). This item caught my eye because it’s gorgeous. 🥰 However, I had NO idea that I traps were not allowed in California, with a few exceptions. I don’t know about other states or provinces, but I’m only speaking for California code.I almost deducted one star for this—however, added it back on, since this is more my fault for not being familiar with the local jurisdiction. And, researching the *reasons* make complete sense (the potential of dangerous sewage gasses being released into the home). Therefore, before purchasing or installing, please be sure to check the legality in your area. I am unable to use the bottle trap for my bathroom renovation, but I was able to use the entry pipe for parts, so it wasn’t a total loss.My review simply based on the quality, feel, and aesthetic of the item? Absolutely five stars.The availability of these items on the market and lack of legal installation… a little bit disconcerting and disappointing. If these type of traps are allowed in your area, it’s a gorgeous and high-quality piece. Just be sure to research local code before installing.

This is a very nice looking P trap and drain combination, perfect for an area where you've got exposed plumbing that warrants something elegant looking. The finish is very nice and polished, and the hardware itself is well made and will last for years.

I got this one to replace the old one under my sink that was leaking. I was looking for something that would match the antique copper finish of my faucet and drain, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It has a nice weight and quality to it, and it doesn’t leak at all.I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a decorative and functional bottle trap.

Kind of funny to think of a pipe that will remove waste water but this is one damn good looking sink pipe. You want to show off to friends this is a pipe to show friends you are serious. LOL.
