Obviously very subjective. But, there are values that can be learnt in this book, even the most basic fundamentals of changing the way you approach your business life. Even if you don't agree with Simon, this is absolutely worth a go, you can never know too much. You just need to make a call, do you agree with this approach, if not why.

Brilliant book. Very insightful, thought provoking and well researched. Having worked for large corporations for the last 20 years, I can see some of their failings would have been addressed if the senior execs had followed some of Simon's recommendations. My only (small) criticism is that more companies could have been mentioned that start with the "Why" .

A book with a simple and obvious message, but no less powerful for it. A good place to start with any new or existing business or opportunity, or in fact with anything we want to accomplish in life, as it's so easy to start out with one's thinking and key messages in the wrong order. Contains good examples and a simple framework for action. I got good value from it.

I see a lot of people criticising the length of this work and actually, they're probably right. Its a shame but most people overlook the obvious even when thats where the merit lays. So its an oversimplification I know, but if you're looking for the essence of this work it really is staring you in the face right there in the title. If you as a leader in anything take just one thing away, which is what most of us tend to do, it's - start with why. Why are you doing what you are doing, and why are you asking those around you to commit to what you have asked of them?If you don't, they will. If you think the 'why' is the money, then you really really do need to read this. If you've moved beyond that then this will be comforting, if you understand that intrinsically then you can add the author as a fellow herald and add your voice to his. That's my why.
