Love it so much I bought one as a gift!
I’ve owned mine for over 3–4 years and absolutely love it, so I bought another one as a gift. It saves so much money in the long run, and I love not having to buy or recycle plastic bottles anymore. You can make carbonated water whenever you want, wherever you are—and it’s so easy to take with you. It’s convenient, eco-friendly, and has become something I use almost daily. If you enjoy sparkling water and want a simple, long-term solution, I highly recommend it.

Great fresh seltzer and no more returnable cans and bottles
No more returnable seltzer cans and bottles!! Yahoo! I love this thing. So easy to store and use. Doesn't require electricity. Just fill with water, push the button and fresh seltzer.

It works fine but not a complete substitute for store brought carbonated drinks
I recently got into drinking soda water for health reasons and at this point I spend almost as much as coffee and soft drinks so one day I decided to look for a DIY substitute and order one of these. The device is super easy to use and after setting it up it was ready to go.The carbonation is okay, even with the "do five pumps for strong carbonation" setting the kick is not nearly as strong as the store brought soda water (for me). If the kick factor for store brought soda water is a 10/10 then the Sodastream enhanced ones is like a 7/10. Overall four star because it was easy to set up and use, I will continue using it as to supplement my soda water needs but I most likely will still buy some at the store once in a while if I want a stronger kick.

Don't buy this SodaStream
This thing is the worst. I had an older soda stream and it worked great. This one explodes all over the place when you press enough times to get decent carbonation. If you do one or two presses, it doesn't overflow much, but then it also isn't very carbonated. I am certain we were screwing the bottle on all the way. I don't recommend this model.

When putting in a bottle, turn to the right until you hear a click
If you don’t do this, you will have a mess and Water will be all over. I guess that is the chief complaint about this device. But you gotta be smarter than the device and actually turn it to where it is sealed before turning it on. one complain on this is that when you go to put pelletized dry ice in the bottle it has a slow leak. I guess that’s how they get you to buy more of them. You gotta love how people just spend more money on their products. I like this device, but I wish that it would take the blue canister instead of the pink one, the pink canister is designed to leak, causing you to buy another canister at $37 I don’t know about you but I go through a canister every two weeks. They should make restaurant ones for households just thought I know not many people would buy it, but I would depending on the fact if it might be

No Bubbles
My Soda Stream system infuses the water with the carbonated taste, but there are no bubbles. I realize this is a minor complaint in the scheme of things, but carbonated water should have bubbles. It also makes a mess. If you fill the water to the fill line, the power of the carbonation jet shoots the water out of the bottle.3 stars for not living up to the hype.
