Are the ingredients the same for cats and dogs?

The ingredients are similar but NOT the same. There are two types of vitamins, fat soluble and water soluble. If an animal ingests too much water soluble vitamin it comes out in their urine. If they ingest too much fat soluble vitamin it will accumulate in their body fat and can eventually become toxic. Dogs can tolerate a much higher level of fat soluble vitamins then Cats. So the dog formula has higher vitamin content than the cat formula. Also cats are less likely to accept vegetable matter including vegetable oil than dogs. So the cat formula has poultry fats in place of the vegetable oils used in the dog formula. Richard - SynergyLabs

Can this be applied topically on the fur? My cat refuses to eat it and I use syringe to squeeze the raw liquid in her mouth, but I'd rather not.

Hi Fauzia, this product will only be fully effective if taken orally. We do not recommend to apply Shed-X Dermaplex Nutritional Supplement topically. The best thing to do if a pet refuses to eat the nutritional supplement is to mix it up with his/her favorite food and give it a time. Other than that, we'd recommend you to use our Shed-X Shampoo for Cats.We hope this helps.

Can i mix this product with dry food?

My cat didn't like this product and was not eating his food. Also I used the shampoo and I did not notice any change. Sorry, but did not work for my cat. Best wishes
