Silicone tape is okay but 3M tape is namesake. Does not stick to even the cleanest of clean surface for more than 2 hours. Not really a 3M tape as claimed. You will need to affix using quickfix else it is useless.If you bother only to have a silicon strip then fine but if you plan to use the adhesive to fix it then don't buy this as it won't serve any good.
