This is my third Shark vacuum and there is a reason I keep buying them! They just work, period. My daughter is moving into her own apartment for the first time and wanted the same Shark we already had. It doesn't seem to still be available so I let her take it with her and got a new one for myself. I do also own a lift away but find it a little too heavy to carry around. The super long hose on this item achieves the same thing and is way easier to use. Assembly was very easy and no tools were needed. All of the components just click into place and probably took two minutes to assemble. I have learned over time that the two included attachments are the only ones I really use and both can be stored right onboard the vacuum. I love that both the foam and felt filters can be rinsed in water and do not need to be repurchased. That being said, I usually buy another set anyway so that I can rinse one set and still be able to use the vacuum while they completely dry out. As for the performance, it works really well. The ability to easily adjust the level of suction right from the handle means that I can go from a throw rug, to an area rug, to a wood floor quickly and easily. The swivel operates flawlessly and makes maneuvering a breeze. And the extension of the hose is great. To reach the ceiling, I don't have to do any heavy lifting or stretching. The dust bin is quite large and is also easy to release and empty. This particular item might not have a tons of bells and whistles, but it just works. For 95% of my tasks, it's all I need. And it is a great value! Every single one of my Shark vacuums are still working great, and I'm sure this item is no exception. For the price, it has everything I need and really exceeded my expectations once I used it. I don't see any reason to spend three or fours times the cost of this item on any other vacuum, when this item does the job. Highly recommended!

This is an awesome machine. The extension capability is very good, great suction, efficient, easy to clean. I really had wonderful luck with Shark vacuums over the years! Highly recommend!

SO EASY to assemble, this is for use with a new puppy that is a shed tornado. I was so impressed just to get it out of the box and put it together, it took only 5-7 minutes after I got it all out of the box. First use was incredible pick up. This vacuum is much lighter than my old Shark with more suction.

This is a decent shark vacuum. I got it on sale. I prefer the duo up lift model better. This is ok. But it’s soooo light which is great. Also, it’s annoying that you have to cut the hair out of the bottom. That’s kind of annoying, but this is very light.

Love this!! I read a lot of reviews on quite a few different vacuums before purchasing. I only have a large area rug but I have a lot of kids and dogs. This vacuum is doing a great job helping me attempt to keep things clean around here. Great suction and easy to clean.
