Great for any self employed or self sufficient salesperson
I’ve read another book by the author and then this book was recommended to me by my coach. Good read reminding me of all the things I do and need to do. Look forward to re-reading sometime in the future.

Meh.
This book, like most books for the financial advisor population, promises more than it delivers - but isn't bad. If you can tolerate the pages of fluff, feel-good filler and relatively useless research statistics, you can cull a few nuggets of useful information. If I were to boil down these useful bits to their distilled core - there's maybe 20-25 pages of good stuff - hardly a book worth binding - so I get why the other 150 pages of theory and research need to be written - to make it an actual book, and not a pamphlet.There are very few practical, real world applications - likely because the authors get paid to coach people, so some of the writing comes off as an advertisement - saying just enough to want you to contact them and ask more - but again, to be expected. I do wish one of these "Best Practices" type books actually fulfilled the promise of that title.

Must-Read for Financial Advisors
Great book for advisors looking to create a 21st century practice. The section on social prospecting, alone, is worth the cost of the book.

Essential reading for Financial Planners
Essential reading for Financial Planners and Wealth Managers. Clearly written with the US audience in mind but equally as applicable for UK advisers. I made pages of notes reading this and can't wait to put some of his strategies into action with my clients.
