I like this book for its simplicity and to the point information. The pictures are clear and the cross references at the bottom of the page is nice.

This book helped me learn art history fast. It was comprehensive enough to give me the background knowledge I needed to pass the GACE art test.

It's a primer on art history. With lots of buzzwords and photos. But so, so helpful when you are trying to place a piece of art in its right era. And the photos are beautifully done.

Great reading for a casual art fan.

I bought this book to get a basic idea of art history before I take the class next year and I loved it! It's actually very interesting and it gives the important details of all of the movements and techniques and works but doesn't go into so much depth that it gets boring. I wouldn't recommend for someone looking for a textbook but for for everone else, definitely!

It’s clearly a returned book or so, the book was damaged when I received
