What a gripping rollercoaster of a read. This story hooked me from the very beginning and kept me engaged right through to the end. It’s fast paced, easy to follow, and genuinely entertaining. It does become slightly predictable in the second half, but even then, it still managed to deliver more than I expected. There were enough twists and turns to keep things interesting, and it definitely keeps you on your toes. The writing style is simple and accessible, which made it a really easy read. I also liked how the character backstories were revealed in small pieces throughout the book, rather than long drawn out chapters. It all comes together nicely towards the end without feeling heavy.
