I was a little nervous ordering these as I couldn't remember where I got my press from but they fit and work brilliantly! Just the ticket!

Pretty rough full of sharp cuttings and chatter marks from off the central lathes from having the threads cut and rough grind marks and lathe marks. I had to get my Taps and Dies out to finish off a job that should of come finished instead of coming 3/4 finished, the concave dome where the rivet head sits in should of been polished to a mirror finish or at least to the point where there are no ridges left over so it doesn’t imprint on the domed rivet head after being used. I really can’t understand why the Chinese can’t take pride in there work and make a quality tool instead of doing the bare minimum to get to the point where it functions but only just and usually breaks after a little use or requires significant modification to get it to an acceptable point for use and fit for its intended purpose. I was taught to take pride in my work and to make it quality. The old timers back in the day made quality tools that are still in use 100+ years later and I own some tools over a century old and they were made with ancient machinery and tools and they are better than this modern mass produced quantity over quality stuff rather than quality over quantity. I really hate lazy poor quality craftsmanship as we should be better at making quality tools than a century ago if we are to have advanced more.

Bought this to fit into my green hand press machine for decorating a jacket with skull rivets that I had bought.The pieces were easy to fit into my existing machine, and easy to remove when required. They are solid metal and have a bit of weight to them, which is essential when dealing with high quality rivets. As this is intended for circular rivets, I was unsure whether it would do the job. Tried it out with a test scrap and unfortunately it squashed the skull piece of the rivet. So, I stuck a penny over the bottom plate with blue tac to see if it would allow me to use the skull rivets, and a further test has worked well. Just don't press too hard!I have since bought standard rivets and I am really pleased with the result, so I will now use these as decoration for my jacket too. Great attachment to have which makes my green hand press machine even more useful (it was previously for grommets) so was a great investment that I will use again and again. As I am using it with fabric, I have stored it in a ziplock bag to prevent any discolouration from occurring.

Does exactly what it needs to do ! Fits nicely with my green punch machine ! Very happy. I use the rivets from the same company too !

Perfect. I use this die set on my green Kam hand press. It makes the job so much easier. I simply place the rivets onto my mini handbags pop under the Kam press pull down the handle and voila perfectly fitted rivets. I use 9mm chrome rivets.
